Proceed to the thread. [...] In Summary The final price of land on all Worlds is subject to adjustments, and may fall lower Over the course of three months, prices on legacy Worlds will fall to match those of World Group 3 Personal housing will be far more affordable than free company housing ... Which means that in three months, starting prices for estate halls on Balmung will be 8,000,000 to 125,000,000, rather than the 20,000,000 to 312,500,000 that they happen to be at present. And three months after that, of course, prices for unsold plots of land will still decline to half of their starting rate. In conclusion: If you play on Balmung, and if you can wait a total of six months, your Free Company can have the very largest plot of land with the very best address for 62,500,000 gil -- and personal housing will be far less expensive. So don't despair. Link to comment
Fermont Marchand Posted December 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2013 Personally, I was not discouraged by the prices that were announced yesterday. I am quite new to the game, but, to me, outrageously priced items are just another challenge to overcome. So what if it costs 300 mil for a house. If the FC has 100 members (and I get that they don't all have 100 active, money-making members), it would only cost 3 mil per person. That doesn't seem outrageous to me. Link to comment

Most expensive house goes to the most deserving group that can raise that gil among them. It seems rather fair. Cutthroat and competitive, but fair. Link to comment
