Nintendo WiFi Connection services being discontinued this year

I was originally going to post this in the Pokemon thread, but it's really a wide thing that affects many games.

 

On May 20th, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection capability for Wii and DS/DSi games will be going offline for good-- only a handful of services, including each console's respective shop channel and internet browser, will remain functional.

Thankfully, there is pokebank to transfer up to X & Y for online battles.
