So, way back in the mid eighties, one of my first video games was Elite. It was this crazy sandbox of a space trader game all done in 3d wireframe with a ridiculous learning curve (see that slot in the station there? You have to fly into it to dock, matching rotation with the spinning station).

 

 

Well, a few years ago one of the guys who did it did a kickstarter for a new version of it, which has just released with substationally better graphics.

 

 

Anyone else going to by flying around that big ol' galaxy with me? If so, look me up. I'm Commander Satsuma.
