Xenedra Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #26 Posted February 24, 2015 From Jancis Milburga to Oscare Iono By Jaques and Nathan With a flex you cause reaction, to your joyous sense of fashion. With a wink and whirl you create,w songs and scenes most elaborate. For a bard, you really are the epitome. It's no wonder you're a part of Soliloquy. And when you smile it lights up a room, a treasure that has caused many to swoon. Now if you'll indulge my selfish plea, that you'll save a few smiles just for me. When you're playing for the crowd, and you're singing your soul aloud, all your friends you can plainly see, gathered 'round like a great big family. We’re there to see you, you’re all the rage, And we’ll be there still, when you’re offstage. Now I am cheering you from the crowd can you hear, even though they're all so loud? Oh if you'll indulge my selfish plea, that you'll send a bright smile, just for me. The tales you tell are truly a delight I’d listen to them late into the night. The sound of your voice, there’s nary a frown Oscare please, you really need not be down. So at the risk of sounding quite tacky, I hope you know: It's okay to be happy! Now smile that smile that lights up a room, a treasure that has caused many to swoon. And if you'll indulge my selfish plea, that you'll save some time, just for me. Link to comment
Xenedra Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #27 Posted February 24, 2015 From Jancis Milburga to Otto Vann By Nathan Oh, Who are you taking home tonight? Oh, To sit beside that red fire light With whom... are you sharing all your wealth Oh, Otto Vann, come tell us all about yourself Got dressed up, for I was bored, in the best clothes I could afford Thought that I would be the pinnacle of chic Until I met up with the gent, who many stacks of gil had spent Upon an outfit that left all the ladies weak Spent many nights with many bands Playing in taverns o'er the land Seen many a dapper man along the way But every suit that they can muster Will just leave them wrought and flustered When the Uldan king of fashion comes to play Oh, Who are you taking home tonight? Oh, To sit beside that fire light With whom... are you sharing all your wealth Oh, Otto Vann, come tell us all about yourself Prob'ly own a dozen houses, and your eye for ladies' blouses Makes the other fashionistas cry to see You may live your life for pleasure, but you're still the biggest treasure That will grace all Thanalan's nobility Oh, Who are you taking home tonight? Oh, To sit beside that fire light With whom... are you sharing all your wealth Oh, Otto Vann, come tell us all about yourself. Link to comment
Xenedra Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #28 Posted February 24, 2015 From Jancis Milburga to Tausenadel Geispyrsyn By Nathan The Coral Sea cookout was going full swing; almost everyone around had just arrived Popotoes were on the grill, and the drinks began to spill, leavin' everybody feelin' quite alive. The kabobs were grillin' down when Yellow-coats from Limsa-town showed up and started tellin' us to flee. They said, "Everyone should leave, for you really must believe, that sailor corpses are a-crawlin' from the sea!" That's when Tausenadel said, "We ain't losin' this cookout to undead!" It's a Popoto Cookout Beatdown time! We're roastin' up the popotoes for you. And if the undead won't behave, we'll knock 'em back into the waves from this here Popoto Cookout time. The zombies started shamblin' in as everyone was stammerin', a-wonderin' why the sodden dead had rose. But the answer became clear, that all the undead sailors here were just followin' their nose. Instead of simply packin' up, the chef then started smackin' up the zombies with his trusty grillin' tools. And he shouted to the crowd, with a voice all deep and loud, "My popotoes ain't for no zombie fools!" Then everybody cheered, and started bashin' undead 'tween their ears! It's a Popoto Cookout Beatdown time! We're roastin' up the popotoes for you. And if the undead wanna fight, well, we've got all day and night for this here Popoto Cookout time. When the skirmishin' was done, it was clear that everyone was covered head to toe in zombie goo. But Tausenadel manned the grill, lo and behold it was still filled with perfect popoto kabobs .... for me.... and you. Link to comment
Xenedra Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #29 Posted February 24, 2015 From Jancis Milburga to Coatleque By Nathan Are you the warrior, a'clad all in white Or is that one a leaf upon the wind? Are you the loving one, with eyes all alight In rainbow hues that have no end? Too many nights, perhaps, you've held up your shield Against both enemy and friend. Whom are you saving with the blade that you wield And whose is the life that you might spend? May all that you love, all that you love, All that you truly love come to you. To you, we raise a cup, and sing to the moon A thousand voices toast your name But is the woman that wears Sultana's white And the truth of you the same? May all that you love, all that you love, All that you truly love come to you. How many souls have you preserved with your strength And how much of your own would you spend However much, Ser Crofte, it has been enough Else I'd have been that leaf upon the wind. May all that you love, all that you love, All that you truly love come to you. Link to comment
Xenedra Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share #30 Posted February 24, 2015 From Mackayla (Secretly!) to Tyriont By Calico Ye took me heart and locked it in A chest with rum and gold and gin Then sailed away to raise a din In ports so far apart But I caught you up before you knew And stole yer ship and stole yer crew So now we share a grog for two The Pirate O’ Me Heart. I’ll always best you with a blade Drink you under any table made Ye loose your arrows, I’ll evade So stop before ye start But when I sail the shining sea No other fool they’ll ever be Swabbing the deck right next to me The Pirate O’ Me Heart Together ye and I shall stalk The waterways and cliffs of rock Until the plank I make ye waaaaaalk The Pirate O’ Me Heart Link to comment
