To re-state things already stated.. That was awesome Lots of fun, and y'know.... I'm making more food next time. Just in case, cause it actually ran fairly close this time, had a few people buying several items at once. Which was good! But I'll definitely have to do more next time. Server/World: Besaid Characters: Saya Kainda, Emalie Wren Why do you like to RP?: It makes the game more fun, gives me more to do within it, and works as both a great creative outlet and a way to make friends I would otherwise likely never know. RP Preferences RP Style (light, casual, moderate, or heavy)?: Whatever's around, or whatever the schedules of those involved allow for. Are you willing to RP a fight scene in game?: I haven't got much practice with that specifically, but I'm willing to give it a shot if it's called for. If so, what's your preferred method of combat (/randoming, skill based, etc)?: I guess if I have a preference, it's for /random while factoring in the skill levels of those involved for honesty. Are you willing to take major injuries in game (ie limb loss, coma, etc)?: Since my character will never LOOK like she's lost a limb, I'd rather not, but if it's absolutely required for some reason or other..... Under what circumstances, if any, would you allow your character to be killed off?: I'd think I wouldn't, unless I'm quitting the game for good, or suddenly decide I hate her and want a new one instead. Are you willing to RP a romance? If so, how far are you willing to go?: I am, if that's the way things go, I've done so in the past, and prefer to fade to black, rather than getting into ERP. Up to that, just about anything goes. What kind of non-romantic RP relationships are you seeking?: I'm -seeking- nothing in particular, but whatever I find, I find. As far as family and such, so long as it's discussed beforehand and makes sense, I'm up for it. I'm -not- a fan of people knowing me OOCly deciding they can randomly RP with me as though their character knows mine for no given reason, though. Talking to strangers is one thing, pretending not to be, entirely another. Not fun, very confusing. How far from the actual lore are you willing to stray?: Not very far. I enjoy the stories and backgrounds given by the lore, it doesn't need the help of aliens, robots, or demigods, to improve. And certainly not cyborg alien dimensional-hopping people. You know who you are. Views on chat functions (IC vs OOC, in /party, /linkshell, /say)?: There are days even I don't have time to RP and am only around to do a quick leve or run an errand, and those days, I'm pretty much stuck OOC. Most times, though, I'm IC in /say, at least, but unless it's determined otherwise, OOC is kept in /party and /linkshell. If I'm not sure, I tend to use (( )) for questioning such things, though, so as to not completely blow up some party/linkshell RP. Will most of your RP be in one linkshell, or do you intend to RP with as many as possible?: Whatever comes along. I don't turn people down just for being in "the wrong linkshell" or some such thing. I know some people do, and I'm sure they have valid reasons, so good for them.. but it seems kinda.. detrimental. I'd hate to miss out on what could be great RP with someone just for something like that. How do you prefer to be contacted?: Either a PM here or in-game, probably. YIM is pretty hateful to me lately.

I can't help but think Miqo'te names, Seekers in particular, look like someone just sorta... cleared their throat, and typed out that sound, to call it a name. Not far off from what Roegadyn names are looking like, with someone already saying it looks like faces were smashed on keyboards to make them. I'm not hating on it or anything but uh... Anybody else get that vibe? ^^; Makes it tough to actually want to "properly" name a Seeker. (So I didn't >.>)

Yay for forum-reading when bored... Just decided to share/brag/whatever else it's taken as... I noticed a few mentions along the way of the short-term pregnancy theme... I've seen that done in Aion before (won't share names), where a character discovers she's pregnant one day, and is breastfeeding her teething toddler the next. This gives me cause for both a confession and the aforementioned bragging. Confession: Those horrible instant pregnancies probably came from me. Bragging Rights: ^That's because my character was the first openly RP'd pregnant girl on the Elyos side of my server. A few weeks after the news, another RPer suddenly became pregnant... and then a third a week or so after her. (There may have been others, who didn't share their status, before me). Mine, however, my main no less *curses many many days kept indoors for safety reasons* did NOT give in to the urge to have her baby the next day. She discovered her pregnancy in December. Her baby is due around the end of this month. So, just for the sake of saying it, not -all- pregnancy RPers are terrible and claim to be instant babymakers, just add water. ;; My friends think I'm insane for being dedicated enough to not give in to all that, too. I doubt they're wrong.
