Probably a stupid question but the linkshell hall is confusing, so this seems like a good place: How do I get started now that I'm on Balmung? I'd love to get a hint, on Moogle you can't just poke people on the street >_>

On a dark, and windy night, I decided to farm Titan EX for the pony. I have found a group of 3 other brave adventurers, hungry for blood and ponies. I have joined as SMN, the group had a WAR and an AST and a NIN as well. Together, we have faced our foe and... The very first attempt, we get him down to 95%, first landfall happens, NIN falls. Rest of us kills Titan without any issues, the NIN guy is spamming that it's taking us forever to kill it. Once it dies, a pony drops, NIN rolls 99 and leaves the party. That was the day I found use for blacklist, other than spam of gil-selling offers.

The city street was annoyingly busy, as usual in Ul'dah. It was intriguing for Shu'ran how everyone kept ignoring a very visible headline about dead people found in the desert. She read the article as quickly as she was able to, which took her a good minute, nearly two. Then she read it again. For a short while, she was leaning with her back against the wall, thinking about the case. "Amalj'aa don't hang people on trees. They kidnap them and temper, so they serve their lord. I don't recall any creatures that would do that either." She rolled her eyes over her own thoughts. "To think that they waste their time and energy to kill others, rather than focus on their own survival." For a moment she was thinking about contacting that instructor and offering assistance, but... Who would actually admit that he needs help from someone like her. And it's not like it's her business either. She hid the newspaper in her bag and continued her journey through the river of people, heading towards the Gate of Thal.

The Congregation is just the building in which the knights congregate. Unfortunately, we can't use it as an umbrella term. Sir, are you a part of the FFXIV lore team? Ok, so after digging through all of that I have one more question regarding dragoon soulstones - if they are handed to a specific person by the Holy See are they also bound to that person (like they would be of any use only to the original owner)? I know it's not the case with WoL, but it's WoL so I'd rather ask.

I have an idea for a character but I would like to make sure that it makes sense without stretching a lot. My knowledge on drg lore is poor to say the least, so bear with me: 1) I know that there are more than 3 dragoons but how do they all function? Are they some sort of organization? Do they actually limit their actions to Ishgard and surrounding regions only? 2) Can you just quit being a dragoon? Is there anything stopping you from dropping this fancy armor and leaving your life and title behind? 3) Is there any reason other than Dragonsong War that dragooning is, I think, exclusively an ishgardian style of combat? Thanks in advance for all the help!

Hey guys, pleasure to meet you all (sort of in the future and probably not everyone, ain't nobody got time for that)! I'm relatively new to RPing in MMOs having a bit of experience from FFXIV on Moogle, where I currently roleplay in a community of... like 20 people and I'd love to be a part of a bigger world which is immersive and interesting in a sense that there are plenty of people and everyone has his own apporach. Aside from RPing I have quite a lot of experience in MMOs, especially FFXIV, I used to play a lot of MOBAs but now I'm rather casual, I like trains and I'm an athlete as I am extremely quick to run from PC to the fridge and back. I may need some guidance, but I'll just find myself a good place to ask questions before barging into the server.
