Askier hit it right on the head here. I know it can be hard to ignore the hate. Especially if it seems to come for no reason at all. But if your FC continues to grow the good will surely outweigh the bad in the end. But if you are determined to find the source maybe try following these hate posts back and try to find the source. Or maybe do some reporting if people are harassing you (even though that is a little extreme) If the levels of the people harassing you are low, it could be that they are all alts from the same person trying to be a jerk.

It does seem strange. Has anyone you removed in the past made any allusions to trying to get back at you? I know that some people especially on Balmung are just rude to other people for kicks (I have been the victim of a few myself). If the reviews people are actually giving you who have been to your FC are positive then it might just be one malicious agent trying to get back at you for something. I don't think it is normal, but maybe have a check with your FC people that they haven't been rude to other people outside the FC and such.

Sarna is a wanderer, so she tends to be anywhere. It makes her easy to put into places for rp <3 If I'm online, I'm 70% likely to be free <3 You said you're looking for a healer, yus? I could easily imagine that Miahtoux would put out a kind of advert looking for a healer.

Little Bump post. With some Info Since I am not sure how people who get in touch here can connect in game I am putting this here. If I am online on this site I am either live in game or available to RP. If you want to RP with me as I said before pls drop a message here with: where you will be at what time you want to RP and the introduction/segway we can use to get started (i.e. why our characters would interact.) If you can't think of the last one let me know and I can come up with something ^^ The only reason I am asking for this info is because I am a bit nervous about being the one to actually start the dialogue. (Especially if I make a fool of myself). I tend to be much more comfortable if I know what is going to happen an all that. So great to see even a little interest in my rambling RP.

Hi all, this is my first major move for more Public RP! (Also trying to be more upbeat!) Looking for Moderate RP'ers and a Linkshell to have some good IC interactions. Looking more for serious toned RP interactions, with a focus on looking for people to help old friends (and lovers) reconcile after a year of silence. Finally managed to write up the first character page, my internet had a bit of trouble with something in the template but WHOOOOO! ITS FINALLY DONE! (sry for caps but I am excited) :bouncy: Thank you all for the welcoming words, it means a lot to see some encouragement. I hope at least a couple of people find this first character interesting enough to want to talk to. I am off to the connections thread now with the wiki page in tow!

Thank you everyone for the help and advice. :thumbsup: I know that 8 characters does sound like a lot. But I have been writing RP's for ages now :blush:. I have a lot because I basically had to let my imagination give life to said characters. That being said I have 3 that I really "main" that is that I spend the most time on, and 1 "Prime" character that holds the entire thing together. So maybe I should write some wiki pages for those 3? Then put them in the connections thread with things I am looking for? (also no worries about formatting. I am a computer science student IRL so I can write HTML pretty well if it uses that.)

I'm confident in them, in that I have put a lot of time and effort into writing them and am happy with where they are right now. (Half of them are almost too long). I just have confidence issues in whether anyone else will like them . Most of my anxiety about doing this comes from what other people will think.

A connections thread? Is there anything specific I should put in it? I notice you have a lot of character info in yours. It seems like a good idea. I am just a little paranoid about people being a little mean about RP content (don't worry I'm this paranoid IRL as well )

So, first off. I am relatively new to sharing my RP's with other people. I have had a fair few bad experiences with people on the internet and in game. So I am a little hesitant, but since this community seems to be relatively nice and friendly I have decided to take a bit of a leap of faith to try and make myself feel a little better. ( :frustrated: dammit now I sound needy ) I have been RP'ing for a long time on a lot of different games, from MMO's like SWTOR and FF14 to single player games such as Skyrim and Baldur's Gate. So, I am not new to the whole "writing" of RP's just the sharing of them. My main server is Balmung, and while I have done some in-game RP it has only really been with my IRL friend who, to be honest, doesn't seem to care about RP's the same way I do. So I am reaching out to other people through this site, and am looking for people to give me some tips for creating wiki pages and such for my characters and also a serious but casual RP linkshell to join. I would really REALLY like a network of people on this game that have the same interests I do. (also, by casual I mean not obsessed with game progression. I have almost no interest in raiding due to aforementioned bad experiences.) My RP is an account wide one. All 8 of my characters on Balmung are connect through a single story thread, but they each have their own stories. If anyone knows of a linkshell that is casual but for more serious RP's please let me know, and if anyone can offer any advice for getting started on this site and the associated wiki I would be grateful.
