Wow, that is seriously beautiful! I envy your ability to draw fully fleshed backgrounds. @___@
Thank you! I know that backgrounds can be a pain, especially with designing them, but they are really good in telling a story as well.
Thank you! I like the previous version as well, it's just two different approaches - previous one was more of a character view, where here I wanted to add some magical effects. I understand the lights may be slightly too much - it also displays differently on various monitors so on some it's weaker, on others more crispy...
And thank you for understanding that Lalafells need some chins too!
I think that (unfortunately) Au Ra males are designed to look very intimidating, scary and realistic. Which is really frustrating when you have adorable females.
I have a bit 180 degrees wish because I wish for intimidating high female. Oh well.
Shame, because more diversity in height, body shape and facial (age) features would be great addition. But unfortunately it seems like there is either option cute or option serious/intimidating. Nothing between.
Wish we could do characters like young and teenage Elezens, would make game much more interesting... It's important to have dreams!
As it turns out, I'm the queen of very late replies x.x But thank you! (I thought I was getting email alerts but as it turns out, I'm not.)
No worries! Looking forward to see more of your work
I thought I could share something here as well, as while waiting patiently for soon to play, I sketched out tiny Lalafell. A bit different approach, not necessarily what is recently popular, but I guess, it doesn't hurt to share!
I'm kinda disappointed with healer outfit. It's lovely and so on, but it feels like it's already been there... With the caster it would be nice if the skull mask looked like actual skull (that would be so cool) but dunno how they will implement it..
I was really hoping for this one to win. I think it's quite cool and different (especially in terms of colors, ehh, why WHM is stuck with white most of the time...), but oh well...
