i. basic info ❀ Characters: Mizuyu Mi & Maesey Mae [will most likely be a temporary name until I figure out her revamped backstory. her wikipage shall come soon!] Primary character: Mizuyu Mi Linkshells:None, yet! Primary RP linkshell:（；_・） ii. rp style ❀ Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): It varies. I'm perfectly comfortable with doing light-hearted scenarios and/or serious conversations that may require more thought. Please note i'm moreover experienced in forum roleplay, writing on gaming platforms is still fairly new to me. I would also like to note that I don't like one-liners, outside of the /say chat and playful RP. But again, being an amateur MMORPG roleplayer here, I'm more than willing to experiment with different styles. I do love development and creative prose, however, i'm furthermore here for the fun involved. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm... indifferent to it? When it comes to roleplay i'm completely plot-driven and i'll practically go along with the flow so long as it's sensible. I, unfortunately, don't know much about how systems work here though. So please, if you're a kind soul, feel free to enlighten me. Views on IC romance: I don't like finals, so yes! I'm down for any kind of romantic plot you have in mind - be it serious or not. And though this should go without saying - I will not smut/ship/do romance-esque plots with a player and/or character below the age of eighteen. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Friends and enemies are just as invigorating as romantic relationships are, if not more exciting. I'm open to everything here, regardless of the character. (Family tied relationships should obviously be brought up to me first, however!) Views on lore: I love the FF series, but I can't say i'm going to be 100% accurate 24/7. I have done a good amount of research and I will continue trying to stay close to the loremaker's visions. But if one of us messes up, i'm not going to get mad. I feel like in these situations it should be like a trial and error - you can only improve from the help of others. So basically, as long as you're not a completely lore-breaking entity... then i'm fine. Even then, i'm not going to turn someone down just because their style steps out of the boundaries. If you respect and love your character, then so will I. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Since i'm still technically new, honestly i'm not sure? I'm not in any LS or FCs anymore so if any new friends want to teach a newcomer I would love that. [align=justify]Heyo everyone! My name is Mae. I've visited here before from the Balmung server a few years or so ago, however, I never got the chance to truly roleplay with anybody. College had been a pain at the time / found some IRL friends that were on a different server (Goblin) so I... impulsively transferred over there for a bit. Although after taking a year-long break from playing FFXIV in general... i've decided to come back to it considering that I have more time and commitment now. So with Balmung being indefinitely closed off, i've decided to try my luck in Mateus. [/align] [align=justify]I'm pretty bad at explaining myself so i'll let the welcome template do it for me haha. But I do truly hope to devote to this lovely community as my prior experiences, though they were small, were especially pleasant and relaxing. [/align] [align=justify]MMORPG EXPERIENCE - [/align] [align=justify]FFXIV is, by far, my favorite MMORPG. And the only MMORPG i've committed to beside it is TERA. Although when I took my prolonged break from FFXIV I tried my hand out with games like Black Desert Online and Guild Wars 2. BDO wasn't really my thing but I absolutely love GW2. I probably would've delved into their RP community if I didn't enjoy FFXIV so much. [/align] [align=justify]RP EXPERIENCE - [/align] I... didn't have that much when I joined this site. Still kind of don't, at least not in an online gaming setting. I've mostly done forum roleplaying, honestly. Be it panfandoms or original settings. I definitely won't be used to the less ranty rps although that is certainly not a bad thing. I've always loved how immersive and friendly MMORPG roleplay was. It might be difficult to understand again at first but i'm more than willing to learn once more. ❤ CHARACTER IDEAS - [align=justify]Like I said, i've been on this site before. Mostly under the names of my child Ninii Nii, a grumpy little au ra taken under wing by Lalafells and Maesey Mae, a flirty Lalafell desperate to find any information about her family. [/align] These archetypes and histories will probably stay - if not mixed and matched a bit due to name-changing + I completely swapped these two character's appearances a long time ago. But I still love them and will re-edit their wiki pages eventually. [align=justify]I also have a few other characters on Mateus but... ugh, they need major changes via names and backstory. [/align] HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT US - I had characters on Balmung a very long time ago, and well... honestly just googled "FFXIV RP" to find something haha. I used to have a tumblr too which I probably will start up once again when I have time~ WHAT KIND OF ROLEPLAYER DO YOU AIM TO BE - Any kind, really! I know how to do rapid-fire writing, but i've also written 800+ words for people. Basically, I just want to be a roleplayer that has fun ngl. I want development, friendships, all of that good jazz. Hopefully that doesn't sound too vague.
