Mmm... For me myself, it's hard to put logic behind or imagining a magic-healing while in real life we live in a magic-less world, but at least from the game's point of view it is clear that Raise is not Resurrection. You can't bring dead people back, at least not with any of the playable Class ability. The Conjurer's and Arcanist's Raise-type spell is to bring an unconscious entity back to a level of health enough to sustain consciousness, hence the relatively little amount of health restored by the spell and the Weakness debuff that follows the entity being Raised. Why not bring them to full health and vitality instead? Maybe such ability do exist but not for us player characters. Casting the Raise requires huge amount of Mana and long casting time which asides from game balance, also implies that it is a very exhaustive and difficult spell to perform and requires utmost concentration. A "complete" Raise is possible I think- but most probably is not a feat accessible to men, Echo-bearer or not, or at least until somewhere in the future patch which unlocks even more advanced masteries. And although it is probably not depicted in game, I do think that not even the White Mage and Scholar could restore lost or sufficiently destroyed body parts such as a lost arm, leg, or a gouged eye. And there are also huge limitations to what their healings could do to neurological or mental scars such as phobia, repressed memory, or amnesia.

But it seems that no one is baking it anymore ever since the game launch! Now not even the cherries or the chocolate flakes remain! :lol: But trust me that everyone here is friendly! It might seems that there are only little activities around but it's all because everyone is still busy into developing their characters in game! Believe me the game is THAT good so much that even most RPers lose a bit of drive to RP and just play all day instead! Fun! I love it when people make Roegadyn characters, especially the females, I do think the race deserve a little bit more love from the community, so thank you for making one! I hope you'll be able to create her soon on Gilgamesh! Let us hope that today's maintenance will give a chance for the RPers to create their characters, amen to that!

This is only CNJ vs ACN right? Not WHM vs SCH Well, this is from my personal obsevation and experiences playing a WHM: ♦ Both CNJ and ACN can resurrects allies in combat. ♦ Both have access to knockback if the situation demands it. ♦ Both have access to Heavy debuff to slows down mobs. ♦ CNJ has an enhanced Protect buff that not only raises Defense of the party but also the Magic Defense. ♦ CNJ has early access to Esuna to dispel debuffs, something that only a Scholar could receive in level 40. ♦ CNJ also has access to Repose to put enemy to sleep, a very vital (30sec+15sec) crowd control in dungeons. ♦ CNJ has Medica and Cure III as emergency area heals, and ♦ CNJ has two types of single target healing to suit the situation, the normal Cure (300 potency) and the higher-heals-higher-manacost Cure II with 500 healing potency; Good to quickly fills the massive HP of Marauders and Warriors or to fully heals a Paladin from even half of his HP. ♦ CNJ has access to Freecure passive which 15% of the time gives the CNJ a free Cure II after casting the normal Cure. ♦ CNJ has access to Overcure passive to give 15% chance for a guaranteed critical Cure III every time Cure II is cast. ♦ CNJ's passives are increasing her Mind attribute, directly helping her to heals even better. But really, what I truly see as a noticeably difference between CNJ and ACN as a dedicated healer is the ACN's Mana utility. The Energy Drain-Aetherflow-Energy Drain is extremely useful to recover ACN's juice, and Aetherflow only has 1 minute cooldown compared to the CNJ's Shroud of Saints which is at 2 minutes cooldown and restores the mana over time, not instantly (but it also reduces enmity so... yeah, it's very useful!)

Well, some fun things do happen in EA, such as this here! IG queue line is fun! If only people were joining and throwing jokes or insults around rather than griefing and trolling... *sigh

The JP servers did not have the staring contest vs Magicked Blade on a dead tree stump? Lucky them! There's quite a crowd there the last time I logged in (and got immersed in the staring contest too), some exchange insults, some share jokes (First is Error 3102, then Error 3, now it's Error Tree, I hope the next is Error Free), but most just hop onto the stump, poke the blade, and joins the club by being mesmerized by the blade's beauty for hours, figuratively. :lol:
