Pretty much. If people want to do something ridiculous and crazy for their RP, whatever, that's them. You don't need to put them down. I personally am pretty lore-oriented, but do minor changes like giving my Seeker fangs. Speaking of, when I emoted about his fangs as he bared his teeth, I was put on blast by someone I wasn't even directly RPing with that jumped all over my ass. Seriously? It's just teeth (And if they had read Dem's backstory, all the men in his tribe that come of age get their teeth filed sharply [took it from an actual tribe irl], hence why he has them). GTFO of my RP

Can anyone recommend a pretty active one? I like a lot of OOC chatter on the side as well, with pretty frequent RP events. I was a very big fan of USH (Unsung Heroes), but decided to leave for personal reasons. So, recommend me one! I'm also pretty social, can't really stand linkshells that are constantly dead because nobody wants to talk. - I am *not* interested in Intermission. Been there, done that, was not happy with it whatsoever.

I'm on Balmung, and I 'occasionally' see some RP in the major cities. Most I've seen in open world have been in small places like Bentbranch Meadows. From my experience, most of the RP I've had has been through my ls/fc. And from time-to-time a little forced. Sorry to say it does seem a little clique-y. If you're ever in need of RP, send me a message! ^^ I'm always looking for some, because I only have two good friends that I actually ever roleplay with (They're non-FC members, so that's saying something.) - I also have S'demyx created on Gilgamesh from the times of Beta (only level 1). Might have to go on there and see what happens.

Category A: You, OOCLY 1. Well, IRL I'm into mostly feminine guys and stronger-typed women. So I guess Miqo'te boys & Roegadyn Female As strange as that sounds. 2. I say if you're into it, go for it. *shrugs* Don't know why it'd matter. 3. Maybe a little. But S'demyx doesn't need my influence to guide him. That perv... Category B: Your character 1. The only race S'demyx isn't fond of are Keepers of the Moon. Beyond that, he doesn't seem to care the person's race. Of course, he's mostly into Miqo'te & Hyur. He's with a fellow Seeker now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't stop his roaming eyes on those Hyur boys. 2. He finds it strange and taboo, but of course he loves things that are off-limits. As long as it's not with a Keeper? He thinks it's very intriguing.

My current favorite macro I made: /em twerks /stretch motion If you see a blonde Miqo twerkin' around the battle field on top of people's dead bodies waiting for res, that's probably me. OOCly of course. 8-)

Runnin' around in my outfit, and found a random awesome Lala to match! They were a sport and let me take pictures of them posing in their "Rocky Horror Picture Show" suit, as they called it. It seriously looks like he's just wearing a belt, not bottoms.

I am definitely for such a thing. My character is extremely cocky/arrogant, and getting severely infected with such an illness would probably knock him down to size and appreciate life more (Hopefully if he didn't die from it!), or if he didn't get infected, but say, loved ones did, ... Just man. The ideas! I'm totally behind it, also curious as to how such a thing could come about. 8-)

Anyone else feeling like they're actually RPin' a lot more than they get in their game play? (When you're actually able to get in). I feel like I'm RPing a lot more than actually playing. And I kinda feel bad that my levels are so wack. I think my highest is lvl19 Marauder, because I spend all my time away from game play! I hope I'm not the only one like this.

I dunno, I've been grinding my impatience skill pretty hard and leveled all the way up to 34!

Welcome, welcome! Have you made a choice between the RP servers you'll likely be on? They're all pretty great for the most part, I even have alts on different ones. Anyhow, enjoy the forums! 8-)

Same problems. Ehh.. Reopened the client and it allowed me on (Said JP servers were down though..) But the world was still full regardless. Reopened client again, now it's back to that no NA/EU crap. :dodgy: Edit: Lol just made it into the game SEE YA SUCKERS

I actually just stretched up to 10g today -__- It's gonna be like 4-5 months before I reach a 00!! And I want 1 1/2" in the long run.. :< Anyhow, I LOVE DREADS. Been thinking of getting them myself. (Being half-black my hair dreads naturally). How do you like them? And do you regret them at all?

Ahh, the dreaded "ERP or No RP" I've come across random people RPing within cities (Like the Gold Court in Ul'dah). Not sure about how you'd find them, but be sure to check out the LS page! Usually I see tons of RPers that I easily recognize from being in one of the listed linkshells. Take a swing that-a-way and find one you like! Don't have to join, just see if they're down for RP. Also, you can post on the RP board and ask if anyone would like an RP get together. I did that before, worked quite well.
