Hey I did say I secretly wanted one. I'm worried about them damaging my perfect teeth though ... I guess that makes sense. Ohoo seems like having tattoos is the biggest trend (and under 12mm stretched ears haha). Though of course tattoos usually have greater symbolic meaning than a piece of metal stuck through your nose.~ What's up with the lack of face/body piercings guys!? i secretly want to get my nipples & tongue pierced, but i was told that would be, quote un-quote, gay. -__- If you can't get into an industry like Flapjack, why don't you get silicone plugs Foxberry? I'm a sous chef in a fancy-ass restaurant, and I can wear them for when I go around and chat up customers. [align=center]

Of course, you can RP whatever you like, but if you assert the existence of languages that aren't supported in lore, you need to have an explanation for them that supports your story and doesn't clobber others' stories or the official lore. One way is to have your character come from some esoteric area where the language is still used, for instance. You wouldn't want to claim you're a master of the modern miqo'te tongue and that you learned it from a variety of miqo'te you've met in the city-states, since there's no lore support for that; other characters (especially other miqo'te characters!) would have to either accept your assertion or react as if you're lying or, perhaps, touched. True, true. I guess if the people who're able to actually form tribe communities can make up their own little thing for roleplay if they can get some background on it. Very nicely put, Freelance!

Just curious to any other 'alternative' people out there. Piercings, tattoos, hell even if you have colorful hair, whatever! (I had teal hair for a while, but it's back to plat. blonde) Anyways. Let's see.. I just got my second septum piercing (took out the first one to get it re-done lower), and I have stretched earlobes. (I'm attempting to get to 32mm ear size right now.) No tattoos yet, probably will get some knuckle tats eventually *shrugs*. I'm planning to get my angel bites & bridge piercings done before Youmacon!

I agree with what everyone else is saying. But does that have to stop you from RPing like there's other langs? NO! You go right ahead. It'd be dapper if there were different languages. It makes things more interesting, (esp. for the sake of RP.) ( I'd like to think the Miqo'te language is mostly the same, but accents differentiate from tribe to tribe. Prob. would sound something like Yoruba. )

He extended his arm as well, grasping his shoulder and squeezing in a display of comradery. He glanced everyone over, nodding at each one, the female, then Amaare. Then finally Desmond. He spoke up to the man once catching his eyes, "Heal well, fearless leader." At that, he immediately turned to the fallen Roegadyn. He yanked his axe from the corpse and sheathed it upon his back harness. Without a second glance back, the Miqo'te male walked off to back wherever it was his tribe hailed in the distance, to tell them of the glory he had won in the desert that day with his allies. Delwyn's final sentence rang clear in his ears, and he smirked as he paced away. Truer words had never been spoken.
