Name: Vysen Dataq Age: Appears to be coming out of young adulthood. Gender: Male Race: Au Ra Nationality: Xaela Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Orientation: Heterosexual Occupation: Former Dataq hunter/Hired Lancer Synopsis: Vysen has left most of his home and tribe behind on the Azim in pursuit of a way in which to return with honor for the missteps he committed to amongst the elders of his tribe, the Dataq. In either self-imposed or forced exile, the Xaela has made his stay within Gridania with plans to expand his horizons to the surrounding lands that most Dataq never see. He maintains a rather blunt manner of speaking, taking things a bit literal and coarse when it comes across his ears. He is capable of sarcasm and understands some of it but his nature tends to gravitate to speaking freely where it is merited and if it can be supported. While he is rather social, some social norms and etiquette are especially lost upon him; mostly Hyuran customs. A tribesman hunter, Vysen is a staunch fighter and defender when it is necessary preferring his antique lance opposed to any other weapon. Hooks: -Any Au Ra will not have that much a hard time conversing with him; he is deposed from his tribe and is looking to reconnect with those like him. -Mercenary work is where the gil is and he will not shy away from any sort of challenge. There may be a bit of contested attitude if it involves breaking the law in an substantial manner but this Au Ra can be reasoned with, perhaps. -He has...noticed Hyuran women. And he is not that put off by them at all, so to speak. -Members of the Dataq clan could perhaps hear the rumors on how one such sect of the tribe had the means and strategy to claim the Naadam in favor of the Dataq. But it was squandered away. A curious ordeal indeed.
