2. Envisage of Night is a rather established guild/free company. It was originally founded in World of Warcraft over four years ago. It has migrated from game to game gathering a dedicated and loyal community. While we are established, we welcome and encourage new faces to join us on our adventures. As a whole, EoN is neither a good, nor bad company. It solely focuses on obtaining gil and furthering itself as a whole. Divisions help us organize and separate people according to their best talents. We enjoy creativity and love it when members get involved and make suggestions. EoN does interactive roleplay events, specifically for the company itself. All members, if they are interested, can be given in-character jobs that they will have to work at completing. Positions are open for advancement, and we are currently looking for division leaders. We have implemented an easy system of organization when it comes to ranks. Alternative characters ARE welcome within our ranks as long as they are played - they do NOT necessarily have to be roleplayed, but it would be nice to see. If anyone has any further questions, please contact one of the Managers, or make your inquiry here. We ARE currently recruiting!
3. Yeah, that's a piss poor manager in my opinion. They cannot deny you a receipt, I've worked in retail. You have every right to want a record of your things for checkbooks, etc. Like the others said, at this point you can only go through Square Enix directly if they're being so horrible about it. Unless you want to try again and tell them they need to reprint your pre-order receipt. It's not a new code, it's your old one so I don't understand why it would be such a big deal.
4. This is why I dislike Gamestop. Ugh. I pre-ordered the game and they gave us a receipt but it didn't have a pre-order code on it, we had to go back up there and get on their ass about it and they almost didn't give us our codes. We had to basically force them because it was their mistake. Just tell them you want a reprint of your receipt, which should have the code on it. I really don't think they can deny you, and if an associate denies you, ask for a supervisor.

Hello!

Greetings to you! I do hope you can join us on Gilgamesh! It would be awesome! I played TERA for a long awhile and use a controller to play also! Haha. I'll be playing a Miqo, so maybe our characters can meet up and possibly be friends? (: Just a question, what server were you on when you played TERA?
6. Thank you, to you both! I look forward to involving myself more! I'll have to look into the Skype group, I use it often. I've already made a character wiki! Quite a lot of work, and I still need to fill it out, haha.
7. Haiii! You're going to be on Gilgamesh, so we should definitely roleplay sometime! My Miqo'te male is going to need some guy friends. Currently he's surrounded by women! Anyways, welcome! I'm a fellow newbie!
8. OOC; I don't mind more than one person joining, but no more than two please. I find it easier to keep up with. Also, I apologize if this isn't any good, I'm just a little bit rusty. The Drowning Wench was eerily empty this night, giving off the impression that the city was dead. On the contrary; however, there seemed to be quite a lot of movement outside. It made no difference to Kheda'ya, so absorbed in his work, the man forget everything else surrounding him. His knife slid through the wood with ease as the Miqo'te sat diligently at the table in the far back. Adept fingers worked as he finished up the small statue. Resembling that of a baby Chocobo. It stood in a proud stance, giving off the impression that it was joyful and carefree. Everything he wasn't. The low-light of the room glinted off the edge of the blade as Kheda'ya lowered his sculpting tool to the table. There was a low tune playing in the background, and as his alabaster eyes studied the figurine, he hummed along. A barmaid walked up to him gracefully, her supple hips swaying with each step. Leaning down she placed a hand on the table and crossed her ankles delicately. "Can I help you, sir? You've been sitting here for quite awhile, you must be thirsty?" Grabbing one of his tools, a brush, he began to dust off any stray chippings before looking up at her. Ears twitched lightly as he tilted his head thoughtfully, tapping his chin. "I suppose....some milk then?" One of her thin little brows lifted, as if she hadn't been expecting such an order. Without another word she turned and sauntered off, coming back only minutes later to give him a glass of milk. Leaning forward he took a hesitant sip of it, growling lightly, he wrinkled his nose at her. "It is not warm." Big blue eyes stared at him as the Hyur woman gave him a disapproving look. With a light huff she turned, warmed the milk and then returned. After taking another sip, he smiled and leaned back in his chair, lifted his feet up on the table and relaxed. The woman took this as her cue to leave, and so did. All the while he studied the figurine on the table, trying to determine if it was worth keeping.
9. I say just go with the flow. I'm pretty new to the Miqo'te lore in general, and I'll be playing a male Keeper. His family is rather big, and unusual for Keepers as he has seven brothers, but yeah. I guess it's all on your preference. Though, if it's another Keeper, I'm assuming they'd know that hunting, etc is very traditional to impress a female. From what I've read, that is. As far as keeping up with being nocturnal, it doesn't say that they're against the sun, just that they prefer the night. So, I imagine you'll see one in the daytime ( as by my guess, they'd be forced to sometimes ) and they'll just have a hood on or something. I don't imagine bright sunlight would be healthy for their eyes, haha.
10. I try to come up with some reason to report Trolls and ignore them. It makes me feel better. :moogle: Yes, this.
11. Hello everyone! I am Kheda, but I also go by Brii or Graive! I'm completely new to FF games in general, though I have read up on them. --MMORPG background; I've played a number of MMOs in the past, though probably not as many as most others have. I've played World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Rift, Perfect World, Forsaken World, anything with the word World, I've probably played it. I've also played TERA online and MapleStory, along with DragonSaga. I'm not really picky, though I do like progression and development. --RP experience; I've been roleplaying for roughly 12-13 years, first starting with pencil and paper and table top games like D&D. I then moved to the internet with forum roleplay and paragraph roleplaying. Only recently did I take on MMORPGing and now I find forum roleplaying just a taadddd boring, haha. --Character ideas/info; My main character will be Kheda'ya, he's a male Keeper Miqo'te with a rather dramatic past. He's more or less sexist and doesn't look fondly at women very much. I'm still sculpting him, but overall he can be a fun guy to be around. I guess you'll just have to meet him to find out! (: --How did you learn about the coalition? A few of my friends from TERA actually showed me this site, I was on the TERA roleplay forum, so I figured I might as well get comfortable here as well. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? I'm definitely a medium roleplayer, though I can be heavy depending on my real life situation. Getting to heavy into roleplay can sometimes drain my muse and I never like that happening. Haha. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) Uhm, well, I'm 23 and female, despite my main character. I'm married with a little girl named Hanna. She's about to be 2 in February. (: I'm REALLY looking forward to roleplaying with all of you.
12. I choose to personally just ignore trolls, there is a blacklist for a reason. Like everyone is saying, there are trolls and annoyances all over the internet, especially on MMOs. I am on Gilgamesh and this past phase I was sitting out at the Bismark in Limsa with a friend and 5-6 people gathered around and randomly started roleplaying. I wouldn't base an entire server off a few ignorant people. And seeing all this badmouthing about Gilgamesh isn't going to encourage any new players to join it, so I'd just wait till a couple weeks after release to put in your opinion about anything.
13. I. Basic Info Characters: Kheda'ya Zahre, Graive Elune Primary character: Kheda'ya Zahre Linkshells: Envisage of Night, Verdant Legacy, Ambrosia Primary RP linkshell: Envisage of Night II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium. I'm an avid roleplayer and have been for many years. I like to enjoy roleplay at a casual pace, too much at once leaves me feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Not to mention it drains my creative muses. Views on RP combat and injuries: I have roleplayed out combat and injuries, I find it extremely enjoyable if the opponent knows what they're doing and knows the basic rules of it. If they don't, I find it childish and annoying. Views on IC romance: I'm extremely picky about this for my characters. While I do enjoy romance, I don't enjoy an over abundance of it, or what usually comes along with it, ERP. I think that character development doesn't need it at all, and that it's basically just a cherry atop the cake. Though, Kheda'ya as a character is a HUGE flirt and seen as a womanizer! Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I usually just roleplay family members as NPCs, I can never find anyone interested in adopting on a character to roleplay if they didn't create them. If someone does want to give it a try, hey, I'm all for it. I think it would be a very fun, enjoyable experience. Views on lore: I love the Final Fantasy XIV lore, unlike most games, I find it easy to read and follow - and the story itself captures me with ease. I do feel that it still needs a bit of fleshing out; however. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I've never seen the linkshell function in any other MMO I've played, so it's rather interesting. I look forward to using it for roleplay. From what I understand it's very similar to like phones, walkie talkies, etc. An easy way for communication for roleplay when you're separated from your partner. III. Other Info Country: United States Timezone: Central Standard Time Contact info: PM me on here for a list. (: [glow=blue]~Special announcements can be found in the posts below~[/glow]
14. Yayy! So many already, I look forward to meeting you all. I'm now obsessing over creating my character on the wikia page. Hopefully I can make it look and sound decent, haha. I would really be interested in maybe setting up connections of sorts? Possibly working on stories with people about how my character could know yours? ( This is in general, to everyone. ) Or we can setup a time to roleplay a new meeting?
15. Oh! I did not see that, I'll have to find it and give it a look. And show my friends who are doubtful! I've been playing Beta and I've got a few friends on the server currently, but it'll be nice to meet new people. I'll also be on during early access. What's amazing is yesterday I actually got to experience a bit of the roleplay at the Bismark in Limsa, it was fun to watch! It started out with just my friend and I, and then a few minutes later one more and it grew from there. By the time I left there were about 6-7 people? It was encouraging, to say the least. Is there a place to post up profiles? Also, if any of you are interested, Kheda is a mercenary for hire and will basically do anything. If you're in need of a job to be done, let me know!
16. Hi there! You can call me Kheda! I'll be roleplaying on Gilgamesh and I'm really just wanting to know who else will be? Some of my friends are convinced that there will be no roleplay on Gilgamesh, but I'm trying to prove them wrong. I really want to meet people and interact with them, and upon pre-release, possibly have my character meet them as well. Currently I'm playing a male Miqo'te, who is a Keeper and holds the name of Kheda'ya. I'm not one for really pre-plotting, but I do like to put it out there that he and myself are VERY open to roleplay. I've been roleplaying, forum based, for about 12 years. MMORPG I've only been doing for about 2 years, so I'm still kind of a newbie. I am extremely excited about this all, though, and I want to extend my hand in greeting! If you'd like to know more about Kheda'ya or myself, you can post here or send me a PM!
