B'rahz set the crate down where she had instructed, wiping his brow after. "Whew. That should be the last for now." He tugged the crate open and pulled one of the bottles out. Green. She was right, of course. "Yep. Hi-potions, each one of 'em. Do you want 'em on the shelves, or just keep 'em in the crate?" The dark haired Mi'qote smiled over at his companion, genuinely happy with the work. For a long minute, he just watched her as she paced and inspected the place. He could already see she'd have changes in mind. "What needs moved next? You're eyein' those beds; are we rearrangin'?" He stretched, walking leisurely across the little clinic, when he heard shouting from outside. Something was causing alarm in the courtyard below. "What in-" B'rahz frowned, moving toward the door.

“Hey, where do you want this big one? I think it’s glass!” B’rahz Tia called out from behind a large crate in his arms. When he had arrived at the clinic that morning, the Seeker wasn’t sure he would be of much use. A’tirramei had invited him, though, and he was only too happy to do what he could. The little clinic had been ransacked recently and the owner, R’aelas, had asked that they watch over the place while he was away on other business. B’rahz had expected that meant treating patients, but the clinic had a fair share of simple labor with which he could help. As it was, a whole cart of fresh supplies had arrived shortly after the pair had. While Tirramei straightened up inside and prepared for potential patients, B’rahz worked on carrying in the new items. “Probably bottles for potions or somethin’,” he said, grunting as he resettled the crate in his arms. “Who knew somethin’ light as glass could weigh so much.”

They've announced that within the next week-ish, they'll be upgrading their hardware infrastructure, and that it will apply to both world sets. Until then, things will be mostly the same, but that's something. They still haven't budged on adding an AFK time out, however. :dodgy:

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I try to remain In Character (IC) for everything, as long as I can manage. I won’t let it compromise a PvE or PvP task, but if I speak in /say or /yell, it is always IC, as well as actions taken in town. A few exceptions I have encountered with this game specifically include OOC visits to other cities in order to learn a new trade skill. Views on RP combat and injuries: I honor RP combat but with care. I don’t tolerate god-mod posts, and I believe in a one-action-per-post restriction. You can’t expect my character to stand idle while yours pulls off a series of chained actions, after all, but I do honor posts regarding intended follow-ups. In games that support it, I prefer In Character dueling for situations that require only two combatants. Regarding injury, I will play along with anything, but permanent injuries and death must be discussed OOC prior to the RP. I’d prefer my character not die, but under specific circumstances, I can’t say that I’m 100% unwilling. Views on IC romance: Romance, while not my primary goal in RP, is a great dimension to explore if the cards fall the right way. I don’t nudge my characters toward or away from anything, but if romance blossoms organically, it can be very fun. I am comfortable with mature, explicit, and even darker themes, if the story makes sense, but am unlikely to be the driving force for it. I RP for character development and story, so if an encounter does not include either of those things, it is unlikely that romantic RP will even begin. With this whole subject, player comfort is paramount. Very few things will offend me or make me very uncomfortable. That said, any theme or topic that is uncomfortable for another player is one from which I will abstain when RPing with that player. Additionally, be honest with me, and honest with any OOC relationships that may exist. I will not RP romantically with someone with which there is an Important Person OOC who would be unhappy to know about it. Period. Views on lore: I’m a lore-stickler, I admit. I’m still catching up on the lore for this game, but I tend to stick as close to it as I can. I won’t outright ignore or write off someone who bends or breaks lore, but expect my character to consider him or her to be a raving lunatic, if the inconsistencies come to light. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): /say and /yell are always IC for me. /linkshell is whatever the establishment determines. /Party is usually OOC for me, with some exceptions. /tell is usually OOC unless within quotation marks III. I haven't really met anyone yet, but Tirra Lirra dragged me by the hand to try it out. I'm glad she did! I'm looking forward to meeting more people soon. I play for Role Playing, though I'm also interested in playing the game. PvE, PvP, and anything in between is interesting to me. As for RP preferences, I'm pretty open! I tend to stick as closely to the lore as I understand it (which is still small, so bear with me! Please feel free to correct!) but I'm rarely ever opposed to any particular content in a scene. It is frustrating that, for reasons unknown, SE seems bent against implementing an afk-timeout function. I know that they supported "botting" in FFXI but you would think that, with login trouble being the way it is currently, they would do something about the horde of afk-camped people bogging the rest of us down all day. It's very disconcerting. I love the way the game plays, and I'm very excited about it, but that excitement is growing nervous as the company attitude continues to show signs of apathy toward the NA/EU players.
