1. I think I got a naive male growlithe that's unspoken for. Want it? Totally! I'll add ya tomorrow when I wake up cause.. I can't remember my DS is and i'm sleep! Do you want a Aron or a Larvitar in exchange? Aron will work Edit: I was off, he's calm rather then naive. Buuut to make up for my mistake, I infected him with pokerus

3. No problem Crystal. Got probably ten or so Vulpixes and Growlithes up for grabs if anybody wants em. Vulpixes are about half and half on female and males while the Growlithes are males. Just add me, still going to be hatching more of them. (Seriously, ten Growlithes hatched and all males. Wat?) Edit: Just going to list what I can breed for people right now since it seems the list constantly changes. Zorua, Squirtle, Fennekin, Shinx, Larvitar, Riolu, Chespin, Bulbasaur, Growlithe, Vulpix, Charmander, Froakie, and with luck; Dratini shortly.
4. I am so in on that! Is there anything in particular you want? Also, if anyone has TM Flamethrower, I need a trusted individual to teach it to my lovely Manectric, if it's not too much trouble. Nah, nothing particularly. I'm happy enough just getting them as I had to jump through a long hoop of trades to get them on the GTS. Anywhos, both? Male? Female? Want a particular nature that I could try for? I have class shortly but I can try and them churned out today
5. First off, thank you and everyone else posting. Every lit bit to get this block out of my head helps a ton. For the most part I already figured the Castrum would be a bad idea. Mostly need something that could cover the former village as even a burned down village still has traces of it. Official lore I realize would contradict a castrum but likewise if they decided to do the area around Ala Mhigo (kind of feel like a retake Ala Mhigo is a very likelihood for something in an expansion/update,) then it might suck to have to rethink locations simply because somebody decided to do the math and find that there's a thriving town ontop of what the village was. Was also having trouble with the cavalrymen thing simply because at first I wanted to go down the roman 8-men tent party but I felt like nine could easily be overtaken by a village if they're all on foot. Perhaps if I took the original 15 man cavalry and turn it in...mm, four pilots with eight foot soldiers sound like a good number? Actually, I think pushing his desertion towards the present could work wonderfully. I could change the village location to Ala Mhigo and the reason from not paying taxes to the Legatus into caught with a public prayer to Rhalgr as a sign of rebellion towards the Empire and thus the Empire had ordered the squad to either have them cease and desist or raze the village and make an example of the people as a sign to other Ala Mhigans still residing within the area. He'll be a part of the XIVth, but then begs the question of how to get him towards the Ul'dahn area from Ala Mhigo. Stowaway on an airship maybe? Thoughts so far?
6. Friend code is 4570-7430-9150 , got X. Also currently in the process of breeding Growlithes and Vulpixes if anyone wants in.
7. So, I would like suggestions on an RP FC. Preferably one that's not alignment specific since the alignment of a character can change. I'd also prefer not excessive amounts of members because I have a bad case of social anxiety and can't really take large groups of people talking to me, digital or not. Getting better, but alas the problem is still there. I'd also like suggestions on my character story because I've hit a roadblock. No matter how hard I bash my head, I can't seem to figure out more to add to his backstory besides "Garlean Deserter," and two specific events during his career that would switch him from a loyal Garlean soldier to an Eorzean wanderer. Info I have so far on Belmont: Former Decurio of (I have no idea which legion for him to be part of, the VIIth or the XIVth. I guess I could also do the legion that went through Toto-rak as well but...Sigh. I hate my indecision,) named Adolphus the Butcher. Named after the first event in where his turma consisting of 15 cavalrymen were to suppress a village that had been taking under Garlean rule which refused to pay the residing legion, and was forced to give the order to have every villager slain and the village itself razed to the ground. Village as of now is unnamed because I've got to think of a good region to have it towards. Would having one of the Castrums maybe being built over it work? Second event is where he had escaped the Legion while having to fight his turma every step of the way and end up saved by a white mage on the brink of death before being taken to Ul'dah and having his name changed from Adolphus to Belmont Neowyld. Of course I'll add alot more fluff to each event to make them seem more dramatic, but right now I'm very much stuck. Sorry if this seems like a mess, just really haven't roleplayed or even though creatively in a while so not quite in the mindset yet. If I can only get this bloody story figured out I can tie it together to create the present him.
8. This was my dog Spike. He was a Pit Bull/Pomeranian/York Terrier Mix (Awesome combo, made him look like a kind of bear cub.) Happeh Faic! Don't stick your tongue out at me! Mmm, sunlight! I say was, because he actually passed away last August, but I still like to immortalize him by showing other people his adorableness. Now I'm ready to love a new dog, which I'm hoping to get a husky around New Years. Naturally, people will see pictures of her when I get her. (I also like showing off because well...it's such a unique combination. Like, neighborhood of 70+ dogs and only one of him.)
9. Belmont's chocobo is named Siegur (An adaptation of the Norse hero Sigurd, who slayed the dragon Fafnir). Siegur is the bane of his existence, and tortures him mercilessly. He even went as far as chewing on his hair during a fight with an Aevis, or after Bel went fishing once it snatched the fish off the line and ate it.
10. I have my PLD to 50 if another tank could be used. I'm actually heading to sleep after making this post(and a few other posts), so I can get on tomorrow afternoon. Just don't want to DF as tank. Sure queues are fast but....I'd just much rather to tank for people I'm going to see the next run vs the anonymity factor where Mr. DPS1 blasts without the tank even grabbing aggro and then the group harrasses me and tank#2 for it(Happened twice on ifrit. Fun stuff.)
11. I. Basic Info Characters:Belmont Neowyld (For now) Primary character:Belmont Neowyld Linkshells:Looking Primary RP linkshell:Looking for a light-medium II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I'm just going to go with between light and medium as I haven't roleplayed in a long time. When I did I was a medium-heavy RPer, but now after a good period of the creative juices being stifled, it will definitely take me a little bit to get into the swing of things. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm fine with it as long as any kind of lasting effects be thoroughly discussed in ooc prior. Lasting effects being scars, maiming, death, limps, or anything else of the nature. Granted I haven't even RP'd combat in probably four-five years, so I can't remember a lick of how to do it. Views on IC romance: If it happens, it happens. A little romance here and there never hurt anybody, as that is what roleplaying is. Drama. Something to spice up your characters life so he/she doesn't wake up every morning, sit at a forge, slice at a monster, go to sleep, and repeat the process. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): A kind of necessary aspect. After all, your character has to come from somewhere, right? He's had to have some sort of people around him/her to build them up (or down,) into what you actually play them as present-day. Views on lore: Another necessary aspect, though there's still so much I have to figure out about it to make sure my character remains something that could be realistic (realistic as pertaining to people in Eorzea anyways.) Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): /say RP /party OOC /tell RP or OOC /linkshell RP or OOC III. Other Info Country:United States Timezone:EST Contact info:PM or In-game [glow=blue]~Special announcements can be found in the posts below~[/glow]
12. I don't know if I'm overstepping my bounds as it being only my second post (first if you exclude my intro,) but I like to think of the Main story as kind of a...rumor, if you will. Sort of like a "What has happened," instead of a "What will happen." After all, while every character is unique, at the same point it has to be kind of another faceless mask within the crowd or else we have a bunch of outrageous stories in the taverns exclaiming how we killed a Primal, while someone in another tavern talks about how they killed the Primal. With it being a rumor, then anybody can recite the story, and it can even become a staple within a bard's repertoire of stories of the heroes of the past. Kind of like that, you can leave the Hero/Ine, to the imagination of the player. They can places themselves as the hero they want to be, but at the same time they can keep their head level to where it's a famous story of someone like him/her that had done these exciting things.
13. Hey-ho! My name is Belmont, and I am not new to MMORPG's to say the least. I've played almost everyone available to date (keyword being almost, never been fond of the hardcore pvp ones like Mortal/Darkfall.) I'm not new to RP, but likewise I haven't actually done any in...probably two or so years. (Ok, well I did some in SWTOR, but I was still rusty then so it wasn't very satisfying. Plus I only did it for a few days as the guild I rped with just...yeah. Didn't really represent the community well). Even with all that, I still am rusty, so at best I feel like I could only do light-medium RP with occasional pauses as I get writer's block more often then I'd like to. At the moment I've just been trying to get my character (Belmont Neowyld,)'s background history. So far, I've gotten he's a Garlean defector that was the Decanus of a clean-up squad that suppressed villages and per-se "Bring them under the Empire's heel." Having done it for the Empire for seven years, his conscience eats at him to the point that during the Calamity, he kills off his own squad in order to fake his own death to escape from the Empire where he makes his way to Ul'dah. I don't know, I still have plenty of work I need to do on it, but that's what I got so far. On other notes, myself is named Michael. Lessee, I'm a big Martial Arts fan. Naturally my favorite movies being Kung Fu and Wushu movies (Ip Man being a prime example.) I'm 23, and currently going to the local Community college in order to build up credits to eventually enlist and progress in the U.S. Army. I have a bad case of Social Anxiety Disorder that I've been trying to get over day by day (I'd like to think so I'm getting better at it.) And uhhh...yeah. That's all I got. Oh, also anybody can message me if they need a tank :3
