umm, long time no reply (again) here are some drawings of my characters "Rin Kurosawa" and the Seer Yekeidun and my friends characters Sorocan and Borasuul Malqir

I think the general consensus here is that if people are conversing in public, emote at them and it'll be ok. The key here however is to emote at them. In my experience, it's not often that when you're by your lonesome emoting to yourself, watching the tavern or what have you, someone will approach you. It does happen on occasion which is great! But don't rely on it, because it usually won't hook anyone. If you show you're actively interested in what other people are doing and have your character in actual proximity to the situation in question, I think you're far more likely to be responded to.

These are pretty damn cute.

I basically only know models and no actors SO THIS WAS A DOOZIE, but I managed to scrape up an approximation of how I imagine C'dhen.

Your handling of light and color is really impressive. I am jealous and impressed! Great work :-D

I. Basic Info Characters: C'dhen Tia (main), Olivier Demarre, Havahn Roeske, Cecilia Penrose. Primary character: C'dhen Tia Linkshells: The Gilded Mirage Consortium, Intermission 3, The Grindstone and a ton of other, more personal ones. Primary RP linkshell: None, really. At least, not any that are public. So I suppose The Grindstone? II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium to heavy. I do enjoy IC dungeon runs and PvE, but it's not always possible (or even preferable given time restraints). I like to think I am fairly balanced. If I'm wandering around cities or other such hubs and I'm walking, I'm usually IC. Sometimes, though, I'll just stick myself in some corner and lamp to creep on survey roleplay. Views on RP combat and injuries: Though I'm opposed to permanent disfigurement in 99% of cases, if it's something that's been discussed with me thoroughly and I've agreed, I'm all for it. I'm not opposed to roll-system RP combat, though in an ideal world I would duel. Since that's not possible, communication is key! Views on IC romance: I don't go out of my way looking for it and it's rare that my characters find themselves in relationships, but I am not opposed to it. As in all things RP, however, IC needs to stay IC. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm not looking for anyone to play any of C'dhen's family members or any of my other character's family members. With that said, I love to get to meet new people! Views on lore: Lore is extremely important! I do my best to stay within the confines of the lore and will accept criticism if something is amiss. My goal is straddle the line between "normal" and "abnormal" to a believable degree within the constraints the lore has given and I typically have a reason for every decision I've made concerning back story or other lore related themes. With that said, if something outright breaks lore I am happy to accept criticism and amend the problem. I'm also of the belief the world created by RPers is the most interesting when its held true to the setting given to us. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I almost always have yell and shout turned off as a means of blocking out gold sellers and spammers. Because of this, I treat those channels as OOC channels so if you see me yelling that I'm looking for a party in the shout channel and there are no brackets it's because I'm OOC, I swear. III.
