Could we get some sort of indicator icon or something to mark 'recruitment closed' link shells? I am getting highly discouraged in researching them and finding out they are not recruiting right now.

Yay! I was finally able to create on Balmung! Of course, there is a Gil spammer near i started, and reported it.

At this time, no characters on Gilgamesh or Balmung can be made. I've tried. ;/

Speculating: I hope so. For a definite answer I am still looking through threads on the SE forums for clarification.

Right now I just tried to make a new character, and Balmung and Gilgamesh are not accepting new characters at this time. The status update on the front of the patcher states a whole list of what is 'closed' to new players. At least my char on ifrixit(sp) will keep me occupied in the meantime.

I was really hoping to get on Balmung but they have locked it to new characters. Gilgamesh too. *sniff sniff* I hope maybe a third server is picked?

Hello! I am currently waiting to join Balmung, but I started a character on another server to just learn the game. So far I got the basics down. I am an experienced writer and role player and have participated in other MMO's as a role player I am not clear on the lore/background of Final Fantasy, so I am a newbie at that lore. I plan to make a female Roegadyn Marauder (and I love doing tradeskills!) character on the server, but I vaguely know about link shells are they devices or more like a guild chat channel? Also, I got to 10 on my character but could not buy a retainer? What level do you need for that? As for the coalition I searched it and found it on top on Google. I always check out the sites first before speaking up. I am a heavy role player, but plan to take it medium until I learn more about the history/lore of Final Fantasy. I work mostly days, so nights and weekends I am free to play, and work on getting a character high enough to join for group events. I know about Intermission, but I would like to know more places that I can inquire upon when I eventually get on the server. If anyone wants to interview me before the server congestion clears, message me here. Thanks for reading my spam.
