Ah, true. Hopefully within a couple of hours things will shape up.

It looks as if over the last couple of hours they've only lost total capacity -- contrary to what they've been trying to achieve. Right now there's only one NA server available to new characters.

Sadly the only way I've seen new character to be made is right after maintenance but you have to be fast, my friend just barely got her character made when the game came out of maintenance last night, I logged in 2 mins after she did, and there was a que already. Eve isn't one big server though, they have hundreds and hundreds of instances supported by multiple servers, also they have more then one world now. I think it's like 5 Worlds? If one gets full or unbalanced they stuff you in another. That's unfortunate I can only hope perhaps sometime tonight they lift some of those character creation restrictions.

Oh, I know. I'm asking if anyone knows if this restriction will be alleviated gradually.

Does this mean new characters won't be accepted at all on Gilgamesh and Balmung? Someone was telling me that they are monitoring all restricted servers in real-time and allowing new characters gradually. Is this true?
