Raeras

Hello everyone! I used to play several, several years ago on...Sargantas I believe it was. I had a Miqo'te named Raeras Valhalla. Right now I play an Au Ra named Plushie Panda on Adamantoise. I'm looking to possibly get back into some light RP things now that I'm progressing more in the MSQ and such and just kind of looking to reintroduce myself and get a better idea of how things are done these days!

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah, my handle is Raeras. I played on Balmung wayyy back in 2013 on a Miq'ote named Raeras Valhalla so I'm not even sure if anyone I knew back then is still around. I'm back to FFXIV because my SO wants to try it out again and I figure I'd like to get back into the RP community to some degree at least. I am currently on Hyperion with a Miq'ote by the name of Plushie Bluebird. I will likely be getting a name change but until then - that's what it is! I saw from some shouts that there is some kind of RP community on Hyperion so I'd love some more info on what the RP scene is like there these days and potentially get in with a FC that has a good mix of RP/Game Content focus. I look forward to getting to know some of you all better!

I think I read something on the official forums (because I'm pretty sure there's a whole topic on it) where it said that while the inter-breeding was possible between the different races, conception was rare.

(For some reason I didn't notice this board before, so I deleted my other thread in the RP Discussion area and am reposting it here ^^) So Long story short, Rae joined a hyur named Hei on a journey to different lands with his pirate crew on a ship called the Prowler. They arrived in Doma shortly before the revolt and ended up lending their hands in the revolt, where Hei was killed in battle. Afterwards, Rae and the rest of the crew lent their hands once more in helping in the aftermath. During this time Rae donned Hei's hat and took over his position as captain, while some would see her as still relatively new, there were no vocal objections to it. Now, after about a total of year and a half, Rae and the others are back in Eorzea, having ported in Limsa for a bit of reprieve and finding some adventures on land until their ship is fully ready for the next round of adventures! That being said, we are currently seeking members of this pirate crew! They can be prior to Rae becoming part of the crew, picked up along the way, or recruited in the aftermath of the revolt, or join here in Eorzea! So I'm not too positive on the best way to rp that length of time, though I personally don't think that it would become much of an issue but I'd like to hear other's opinions on it. (I think there is a whole thread somewhere on here dedicated to the question 'how do you rp time' )

So some of you may remember me, Raeras Valhalla, or at least the name. I started out on Balmung but after deciding I needed a change of scene since I wasn't really RPing anymore, I moved to Sargantas. A while after that I took a hiatus from the game and decided to move back to Balmung along with X'Zanza (whom some of you may or may not recognize as well) and I look forward to reconnecting with some of you and making new friends! If anyone was wondering ICly, Rae embarked on a journey with some friends and her sister across the sea, and has only just recently returned ^^

Excited for this tomorrow! For those interested in betting, Myself and T'iathar will be positioned at the starting area in Black Brush to take bets! It will be decimal odds for this, at least since it's the very first race. All bets will be made in real gil and paid up front. Minimum bet is 100 Gil For an example of how the odds work you can take a look Here under the 'How It Works' tab. There will be two areas to bet on. The first area will be betting on who will win the race. Pretty straight forward- you just bet on who you think will win. The odds for this will be 2.00 (double your money) The second area will be on correctly guessing at least the first five places-if you wish to try and guess all of them, be my guest! The odds on this will be 2.50 (If you bet 100 Gil you get 250 back). Remember though, if even one is wrong, you lose. Raeras doesn't mind physical contact. At first, when it came to more romantic things like a kiss or an arm around her waist, etc she would blush a lot being unfamiliar with it all. Though she still blushes now it isn't nearly as bad as before. In general though, the only physical contact she doesn't like is a surprise poke or hug or something like that

Everyone likes a good bet from time to time. Some even more frequently. There's a certain thrill when you bet on the odds, and an even bigger one when you beat them. Organized betting isn't something that you see too often right now in game, but myself and a few others are looking to bring it more to the forefront of certain events that go on now (Read: Grindstone) and ones that can be brought about in the near future Such as: Carbuncle Fights/Chocobo Fights Chocobo Races Other Organized Fighting Competitions And anything else you can think of that betting would make sense in! In the future an IC LS may be created to notify others ICly of Events but for right now this OOC LS is dedicated OOCly organizing these events and setting up RP to get the ball rolling on them!

Good question. I think if they were regulars and then suddenly switched to someone else they might not be too happy. I suppose it would depend on if it was like an independant or if there was 'mob' like connections involved
