Oh, wow. I checked the month and day, but not the year. Sorry for the necro, lol. Un-intentional. Didn't feel satisfied with all the responses, so I figured it was still going.

I think the correct way to go about Fantasia is to say it's an incredibly rare substance as mentioned before through comments and 'flavor text'. Perhaps it can only be made by an herb of some sorts that is extremely hard to find. Those who sell it put it up for a very high price, something no one without a fat wallet can afford. Only other option is to make it yourself, and that requires a vast knowledge of botany, Alchemy, and possibly DoW magics to enchant the contents, granted you can obtain such contents. The Fantasia can work by having the person who takes it enter a brief coma. In this coma they enter a stasis or a dream where they can imagine what they want to be. And once they are finished, the Fantasia takes place and changes their body to what they want to become. This would be consistent with the 'flavor text' where they lie down for the evening and wake up a new man or woman. This keeps people from abusing this to increase reproduction in dying species such as the Miqo'te (( In-game, they are suppose to be rare and few in numbers. I know, any RP server you'd think they were popping out of the womb like popcorn )) via money / resource disparity. And the second note will also prevent others from using this to bolster war efforts by turning an army of men into cute little lalafels, because they'd not only have to drink it, but then have to want to be a lalafel, two unlikely things to happen. I do agree this procedure does bring a strain on a roleplay scenario by having someone 'poof' into someone else in the blink of an eye. But in a world where magic can be used to bring someone back from the dead, conjure the elements to your bidding, and furthermore summon demons of unimaginable power to your will.. I think Fantasia is the least of most people's concerns. A lot of crazy things happen in Final Fantasy, and having someone grow a tail and cat-ears should only be a mild shock. Just need to look at this through the lenses of the characters living in Final Fantasy and not through the lenses of our current society, because in our world, half the shit that goes on in Final Fantasy would have everyone in a mental institute. P.S. I would have Fantasia bring some harsh consequences. As if obtaining it wasn't bad enough, perhaps it can shorten your life span due to the increase activity in cellular productivity. Maybe it has a decent chance to sometimes malfunction, making it unreliable. There's many ways to go about doing this, but somethings needs to be done because otherwise, as mentioned in previous comments, people would be drinking this whenever they get their hands on it, and that's not how such a potent spell should be treated. There must be a balance. A great spell with such potential MUST have extreme drawbacks. The pros and cons must have equal weight. [[ Thoughts and / or feedback would greatly be appreciated! I do like the idea of Fantasia due to the creativity it brings forth to roleplay. Not everyone has to agree with me, but those that would like to voice constructive criticism to develop this idea, I'm all ears. ]]

(Yeesh.. I was away for a day or two and come back to pages upon pages or posts . Yeah, my weekends are pretty packed in schedule. Just impliment somewhere in here that X'ahce just left the caravan and walked to Gridania. I just don't have the time on the weekends to keep up with all the posts, no offense of course! I like the roleplay, but I can't manage it. Sorry D: )

(( This is an OOC Post to Tobias! X'ahce is a Seeker of the Sun! The other Miqo'te is a Keeper! >=\ ))
-
X'ahce stood from where he was sitting, deciding against his natural reclusive nature to those outside of his tribe. Walking back towards the caravan, noticing the romantic scene between Tobias and Lorielle, consisting of heart-warming tugging of skin and blood and eye-catching stitching of admiration. He smirked at his own thoughts, looking over to Clavier that proposed the non-direct question, "Strictly business, nothing more." He approached the back of the caravan as Lorielle had begun to rummage through the boxes. His eyes caught the tent even though hers were particularly on the five sleeping bags. He blinked for a moment as he counted the sleeping bags.. And then counted the number of travelers.. "Well, either two are going to without one, or they're going to have to share with another." The first thing coming to mind was the shy miqo'te sharing a sleeping bag with someone. He resisted the urge to point it out, but he did divert his attention back to the tent, "How big is it? Enough to cover all of us or just a select few?" While waiting for a response, he patted the pocket where the arrowheads were and reached into it, letting his fingers count the few arrowheads he had left after using them as a safe assault on the toad.
-
X'ahce had been keeping to himself for the most part, letting his mind wander and drift to departure or not. He looked up once his name was spoken, and diverted his attention to the shy miqo'te that he'd least expect to speak up. He perked his eyebrow with curiosity at the question before speaking, "Do we need just one large tent or a number of tents?"
-
X'ahce had stepped away from the Caravan crew once the toad had died and everyone began talking amongst themselves and fighting innately. With little interest but to get to Gridania, he had chosen to detatch himself from the scenario Walking off to the side along the river, he'd sit where the water was clear from the Toad's remains. Checking himself briefly for poison that would intel danger, he'd nod his head with approval. Waiting for some time to pass, his ear would flicker once the driver spoke of a delay, which was expected in his own mind. As the day grew on and the bickering and playfulness kindled back and forth, he'd continue fletching more wood and keeping to himself silently to his thoughts.
-
((Yeesh, was busy Thursday and two pages of frog-killings appear)) X'ahce had remained quiet after the Keeper made his quiet notion towards him up until the appearance of the toxic toad. His hand grabbing the bottom rim of his seat quickly to steady himself, he'd glance over to see the massive toad blocking their path, "Lovely." During the commotion, with the crazed animals and Kieaira falling on the floor, he'd quickly jump out of the caravan and move further to the side to get a better view of where the heck he was. Once the tongue flicked out towards the animals, he'd draw his bow and an arrow.. But something caught his eye as the arrowhead wiggled with simply it's draw. He flicked the head of the arrow and watched as it fell off to the ground. He cursed silently, "Damned Tia didn't craft the arrows correctly..". A growl was emitted as he watched the toad. Luckily someone else had a reliable bow and arrow and once an arrow struck the toad's eye, he'd glance over to the Caravan and notice how the animals were gone and Tobias was injured. Looking back to the jumping toad, he'd drop his quivver and arrows onto the ground and draw his daggers and crouch low. Preparing to leap, the arrow that sent the toad into the water caught him off-guard and his focus shifted to the underbelly as the driver had called out a brief moment ago. He nodded his head and waited for the driver to make his strike. Once the spear was lodged, he'd dash very quickly towards the toad. Once his was close enough, his eyes would focus on the spear's hilt that was sticking out and his muscles would tighten up as he pulled back his dagger and slammed the hilt of it into the hilt of the spear precisely on the head with enough force to sink the spear deep into the underbelly of the creature granted the it didn't stop him. He'd also keep his eyes peeled for the Hyur's next arrow as to make sure he doesn't get hit. Once the contact of the force had been made, he'd jump back to avoid the blood of the toad and reach to one of his torso pockets and withdraw a number of arrowheads he was going to use for fletching. Once his feet made a firm landing, he'd throw the arrowheads at the underbelly of the toad, attempting to slice multiple small holes into the toad before it had a chance to respond.

X'ahce twitched his right eyebrow at the sounds of the Hyur and the driver's bantar over the food. He peered over to the commotion and smirked at the puffy cheeks and the crumbs that were gathering on his features. He shook his head and sliced at the wood some more, the block of wood now looking more like a cylinder of some sorts and slim at that. He kept to himself for some time before the Keeper spoke to him once more. He'd raise his gaze to the male, "You can say that. I won't be staying too terribly long in Gridania, that I can assure you. Merely to meet a few of the people that live there and ask a few questions before meandering my way in whatever direction they point me in. I'm merely looking for someone." He'd eye the wood and cut at some of the fine corners so that the cylinder was as smooth as he could help it. He nodded his head with a certain degree of approval before sheathing the arrow shaft into his quivver and sheathing the dagger in it's hold along his right leg. His eyes meeting the drawings of the Elezen woman. An eyebrow perked for a moment as he analyzed what he was seeing, as it was upside down for him, before nodding his head, "I like the drawings, very neatly detailed I might add."
-
X'ahce would nod at the comment on the warfare of tribes and looked back towards the block he was fletching. Listening to the light conversation of the two women, he'd fall back into his own focus in carving the wood. He'd glance up for a moment as he felt a set of eyes upon him only to capture the gaze of the miqo'te female. She'd look away so quick, he'd simply shrug it off and continue cutting the wood for a brief moment before feeling the cart come to a stop. Pressing the flat end of the blade to the wood to prevent any accidental cuts, he'd look up in time to see the miqo'te hit her back against the back of the cart. His attention shifting to the drivers words and then back to Kieaira and her comment. Nodding his head in agreement, he'd still remain silent as to focus on the fletching. Not long after he had diverted his attention, the Keeper male drew it back at the question of everyone's trade. He'd open his mouth to say something, but would cut himself off as his mind's eye focused on the two extremely timid women, and deciding best to keep his mouth shut. He'd avert his gaze back at the wood in the talk of 'Mercenary' trade and continue fletching once more. Once more his attention would divert to the Keeper-- Oh good, a question that's rather neutral at best, "My names X'ahce (( For non-miqo'te, you'd simply say 'Ace' when dropping the tribal name )). So yes, I'm a part of the 'X' tribe, or as others say, the Lynx tribe. Either works." His eyes shifting to the miqo'te female as the Keeper hit the nail on the head in terms of his own curiousity. Though he wanted to know the answer, his attention would shift back to the Hyur beside him and the little conversation between him and the driver. A humorous smirk would play on his features as he listened to the two almost bicker back and forth in a sort of banter. Once he heard Kieaira speak, he'd look back to her and only to capture her gaze briefly as she'd only have glanced at him. He'd then simply nod to the driver as he had noted a five minute warning. He'd continue fletching the block of wood as his eyes shifted back to the Keeper male when he was asked why he was going to Gridania, once more his own curiousity getting the best of him.
-
X'ahce furrowed his eyebrows slowly as he found nothing else of strange nature coming from the Miqo'te.. Perhaps she's using her nickname.. But there's absolutely no way she's already comfortable with the crew to be so fond of such an informal greeting. He shook his head, looking upwards to the scenery to detatch his growing curiousity. Looking to the others, he'd find the Hyur who's hair had seemed to finally dried out, but now the strong smell of lavander filled his nose now that he was paying attention to the man. A strange, yet quick, glance was given to the man as to why he smelled like garden. Closing his eyes briefly, he'd open them and look to the other Hyur. The male had come across as a bit more affectionate at best and perhaps the most comfortable one here. His eyes darted over to the Keeper male, noticing the markings that were almost fully finished now. Truth be told, the accuracy of his drawings without a reflection was rather impressive. He'd clear his throat quietly and speak in a deep, yet clear voice, "Well done on the marking, by the way. You seem quite practiced in applying them on the move." Having his bow in his lap, he'd shift it so the top corner of the bow and the string rested on his knee at an odd angle that managed to stay there and not fall off. Without any direct reasoning, he'd reach to his quivver and take out a square block of wood that was a little bigger than the shaft of an arrow. Withdrawing the dagger from his right sheath, he'd rest the block on the opposite knee and tilt it downwards as he slid the edge of the blade along the corners of the block, fletching it into something else in the meantime. He'd also make sure he was cutting it downwards and away from anyone else while holding a non-threatening attitude about it as if it was a hobby of the sorts.
-
Once the cart began to move, he'd sigh in content knowing he's making progress to Gridania. Though his ear would twitch once he heard the female Miqo'te's name. 'Kieaira?.. That's not a traditional Keeper name?' He opened his eyes and looked towards Kieaira once more. His own curiousity getting the best of him for the moment as he studied her carefully to make sure she -was- a Miqo'te. Perking his eyebrow inquisitively, he'd keep his eyes calmly on her, glancing occassionally to the outside of the cart to watch the scenery go by so as to not seem he was -staring-. Though once more he wouldn't hesitate or glance away if she looked to him. He will, however, offer a smile if she sees him, granted she doesn't dive out of the caravan and run screaming due to her own timidity towards Seekers (( He doesn't know she's timid of Seekers in particular, that's just my OOC humorous note ))
-
X'ahce had remianed quiet for the most part as people boarded onto the cart and even closing his eyes a little before the Elezen had begun to grow close to the cart. Though once she had managed to reach the front of the cart and asked to board, he'd open his eyes and look over to her, noticing her eyes first before her timidity next. Smirking subtlety, he'd look across from him to the Miqo'te that was seeming.. Shy. A Keeper female this timid? Strange. If she were to look to him, he wouldn't hesitate to lock his eyes with hers before looking to the Keeper male beside him. The facepaints were not an unfamiliar quality the Miqo'te adored, but the design was something he'd find more interest into. Glancing briefly to the right to notice the Elezen sit down, he'd look back towards the city. Noticing that female Miqo'te had decided to leave, a smile would appear on his features. The last thing he needed was constant nagging from a woman. If he wanted that, he'd get married. Leaning back, he'd wrap his arms around his abdomen while his head leaned back and his eyes would close once more, comfortable in the heat of the sun, but ready to get to be in Gridania.
-
An un-satisfied grunt emitted from the Seeker as the sun had peeked over the edge of the wall which surrounded the city. Approaching the gates with ease, he'd stop short as a female Seeker intercepted him and stood between him and the gate, blinking as if she was bewildered. He perked his eyebrow, "Yes?" The woman looked around briefly before resting her eyes on the Miqo'te who was wearing black leather from the neck down which went well with his tanned skin. Two daggers rested at his side and a bow tossed over his shoulder, "X'ahce? Where are you going?" He rolled his eyes and walked around the woman towards the gates, but she followed persistently, "X'ahce! Where are you going! I want an answer! I've been looking for you for days now!" He sighed and continued to walk, but spoke in a deep yet clear tone, "I'm leaving, and I'm fairly sure you already understand why." The woman pursed her lips and caught up to him and grabbed his left arm and tried to pull him back. He'd pause for a moment to glance over his shoulder to her before shrugging his shoulders and continued to walk forward and half-dragging her along with him even though she tried to restrain him, "I know you want to try and find your parents, but you're the last Nuhn on the hunting grounds-- Do you even care about your accomplishments here?!" He had now dragged her to the gates and now crossed the threshhold to the outside of the walls, eyeing the cart a little while away, "Pretend the Tia is the new Nuhn. I've got other matter to handle. I've already assisted the clan for the season. You'll live." She fumed, "Pretend the Tia is the Nuhn? ARE YOU CRAZY?! I'm not sleeping with a Tia! He's also rather ugly." He looked over his shoulder once more, his amber gaze falling on her green orbs for a few seconds before giving her a humorous smirk, "Just close your eyes and pretend he's prettier than any male you've ever seen." She perked her eyebrow in a casual yet un-amused manner, "Or you could come back and be the Nuhn instead of having us deal with that spineless boy that you call a Tia." He shrugged and reached over to pry her hand from his arm, "I'll be sure to visit." With that, he'd step away from her and head towards the carriage. Reaching a hand up to idly rub at his jaw, realizing he'd started to get an afternoon shadow across his features since the last he shaved. Watching the few jump onto the back of the carriage, he'd figure they were soon departing. His right hand lowering from his jaw to idly tap his daggers to ensure they were still in place and rolled his shoulder to feel the bow rock against his arm. Once he was close enough to the group of people, he'd glance between the passengers that were already there. The miqo'te male and female, and the Hyur males. He'd attempt to remain quiet as he reached the back of the cart and climbed aboard, sitting in the further away seats, across from the miqo'te female. He'd shift his bow into his lap and make sure his quivver was tilted away from his shoulderblades at a comfortable angle.
