Welcome to Balmung and the RPC! Don't be scared to just jump right in to the RP scene, I know it can be daunting if you're new to the whole idea but trust me if you see any of these guys they're the friendliest out there that I've ever met. On that note, if you ever see me in game on any of my alts don't be afraid to say hello!

My friends and I used to do that same thing, but we'd do it in old raids, once we even cleared out Magisters Terrace so we could do a scene with our main villain there, a boss battle-ish type thing and we rped it out as him having called all the monsters we had to clear. Damn those Warlocks! >3 But man was it fun!

I really would love to do one of these! If anyone wants to do them and doesn't mind having my derpy self along I'd gladly come! Admittedly it might teach me to emote/rp faster which would be good for me, ha ha.

Welcome to the RPC and Balmung Grin, I hope you find lots of RP and fun here! If you or Hammer ever see me in game you can feel free to poke me for some RP, I typically play from 7pm to midnight on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I'm off so I'm actually on in mornings so maybe we will indeed run into one another on one of those days! 8D Also, Medieval martial arts sounds really neat! And yaaaaaay Marauders! I really love that class but I hate tanking so I'm sad that I can't just be DPS in the Duty Finder. :<

The pink text is a message sent specifically to you, I'm not sure what it does on PC but I know on PS3 it makes a very loud sound to let you know you received one. I believe you can just /r and type out your reply to answer someone who talked to you last or you can /tell Firstname Lastname to message them back too! Welcome to the game as well as the RPC Alan! It's always nice to see another Wyrmrest Accoridian joining here, I played on there myself (and still do a little), but the rp has lost it's charm a little there for me without much to do with myself. The RP community here is wonderful, very welcoming and engaging, I'd encourage you to never be shy if you see any of these fine people out playing and want to join in. Myself included! While I'm not a seasoned vet maybe I can clear up the Linkshell confusion for you, Linkshells are like custom chat channels were on WoW, think LFRP, except that the leaders have to invite you to be in this chat channel. Now Free Companies are the equivalent to guilds complete with leveling them up, getting perks from doing so, etc. The linkshells offer only the benefit of chatting with like minded people, or in most cases, finding RP or dungeon groups, etc. Make sense? It's essentially just a specialized chat channel that is used for both OOC or IC chat depending on what the owner has chosen the functionality to be for it.

^This would be awesome because frankly I've admired what he K' tribe roleplayers have built from the day I saw them on here and have wanted something like that for some of my characters. Lists of subtribes and the ability for others to join them would probably build quite a few connections around here, so even if this isn't something you'd want to do I'd be all for helping do something like that. Now to the matter at hand I have to say I also agree with FreelanceWizard, you're probably not going to find a lot of similar characteristics among the Miqo'te players besides the letter in front of their name, it would be nigh impossible for anyone to have kept up a theme just because there isn't enough information on each tribe to know what they would typically look or act like. Not to mention it's unfair to let one person or even a small group decide what ALL tribe members from a certain tribe can look or act like, with sub groups it's fine because people don't have to be in that group but for the whole tribe it's just not fair or even possible really.

Well, currently it's Gridania. Old or New. Poets more towards the Bontanist area and Vivi is just everywhere. I'm sure we'll run into each other then, Siha is going to be in heaven when she gets to Gridania with all of the new things she can draw. I think she'll enjoy just being near water again, not that she doesn't like Uldah but it's a bit jarring after you've lived in Limsa for your entire life.

@K'nahli: Oh don't say that, I'm sure I'd love your character and I'd like to meet her or any other you have at some point! The great thing about Siha's pilgrimage is that it's basically aimless, her mother sent her out into the world and all she really gave her to go on was, travel all of Eorzea and grow closer to the aether in such a way that she became one with it. Her mother doubted she could ever do that so she's pretty much counting on her to die or just never accomplish said feat, mostly die... @Cedric: I'll definitely add your Keeper to my list as well, ICly Siha moved on to Uldah last night so that's where she'd typically be found for now! I'm of course not opposed to having her visit home (Limsa) or travel to Gridania as well.

I would love to roleplay with you sometime, Siha is pretty outgoing so it's very possible she would initiate some interaction depending on what your character is up to! She might even just end up wanting to sketch them! Where do you usually hang around?

Nooooooooooo. D: Wait what? If you mean time wise I'm up almost all night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if you mean just for rp no one is EVER too late I will rp with everyone. One way or another. :love:

Question, is anyone else using a PS3 and is it lagging horribly bad despite having an excellent connection? Like to the point where you can't get gold because you can't fight any of the enemies.

I'd love to have Siha meet her (and maybe they can somehow talk about their abilities down the road)! As or Nica being a handful I think Siha can manage, she's normally happy go lucky but she can be a bit shy sometimes, mostly I think she'll giggle any nervousness off. I look forward to you hunting me down!

Of course I would. I'll shoot a tell or friend request in game when I can catch you on! As a side note for everyone anytime you're done rping with me you can of course feel free to remove me since I don't want to be a nuisance or take up space. D:

Personally I don't mind when someone jumps into a conversation that myself and another rper are having, it used to happen all the time when I rped on WoW and even happened when I was rping for my first time on ARR. I think it adds realism and immersion to the roleplay, that's not to say that I don't like when someone OOCly sends me a tell and asks but I also don't mind when someone just jumps in because hey that would happen in real life now wouldn't it? Besides if I'm roleplaying out in the open in say then I really can't complain if someone wants to join in, if I wanted a private thing I'd take things to tells or party chat! ^^ If I could I was just going to add my comment on K'nahli's situation. Bandits are hard to roleplay because it's really hard to find people that are receptive to actually either a) being robbed b) losing to anyone or c) having anything spontaneous of that nature happen. Again my personal two cents is bring it on, I don't mind rolling with it, the only time I ever would have qualms is if you were planning to fatally wound or permanently cripple my character because that's something I like to discuss before it happens. Otherwise, bandits do happen, especially in this particular setting!

@Karaan: Of course we will! I should be fine to rp when I'm online next which should hopefully be tonight! @Brynn: But of course I'd love for them to meet! I absolutely would love to see what we can work out in the future, Siha's abilities are becoming somewhat more useful than I could have imagined they'd be. 8D
