  3. OOooo.. Thanks so much for that link!~ I'll be looking into it for sure! Right now this char is pretty new to Eorzea. So I'm sure she'll come to that grouping as well soon! ((More than likely I'll contact someone soon and join )) I had in mind this being more freelance, but open to others if they wished to join in on such silly-fun
  4. I wanted to pop in and ask before I just DO; Would people be interested in maybe some Tavern based Shenanigans? I know typing out song lyrics is HELLA IRRITATING when you're reading chat-scoll in regular RP-settings. So I was curious if anyone would be interested in partaking in some shenanigans and japery in a specified place? [[Location to be determined-- Will post/edit as more details develop]] The bard character I have planned to help push this little mini-event will be singing, telling jokes, stories, etc. Thinking about holding a contest or free raffle for those who partake? Yes? No? Would love to hear some comments and such~
  5. I have a few chars; I think one in particular might be able to wheel and deal with this char... Should be interesting! Hope to see you about!
  6. Sandal-clan feet moved across the hard sunbaked earth as a figure covered in a heavy canvas cloak walked. Deliberately dyed grayish white to keep the sun from cooking the wearer alive as they ventured through the Sagolii's ungodly heat. "Not too far now...Not far at all." She wheezed as she kept moving. The spires and rearing figures of colorful terracotta buildings just ahead lured her on. The sun was beginning to set- Thank Menphina!!- Maybe she'd get a merciful reprieve from this Godsdamned sun! She couldn't fathom how the Sun-cats could handle such a fiery star they revered so much. A bead of sweat trickled down the bridge of her nose; making the pores burn and sting in an irritating manner. A hand lifted; wiping it away quickly as she kept moving. It was times like now; she was thankful she had learned how to summon and send away her various instruments. Lugging them about would be painstakingly difficult. Stopping; slowly the cloaked figure's head lifted and stared at the steps that lead up to the city gate. "They are not kind..." she chuckled, despite disliking it she kept a good humor about the whole situation. That had always been Pangur B'an's way. Managing to wander up the steps to the city gate she slowed; noticing the Flame guards that were posted just outside. They gave the figure a good hawklike stare as she passed- she must have seemed harmless, they didn't stop her. Upon entering the city gate, pale hands lifted and slowly lowered her hood as pale bi-colored eyes stared in awe at her new surroundings. It was colorful, vibrant, bright, and busy! Even in the evening. Ul'Dah truly was as dazzling as the rumors said. It was a gem. Pangur had to shake herself a bit and pull herself out of her daze. Brushing a couple of her snowy white dreadlocks away from her face she grinned. Exposing her canines as the Keeper shuffled forwards. Looking about, she moved down the cobbled street carefully. As if taking the wrong step might make the mirage dissipate. She studied the vendors crying out to sell their wares to passers-by before they'd have to pack it in and go home. She spied people of all races moving and milling about performing their evening errands and jobs. She could smell the rich spicy scents of food cooking and she groaned. "This is amazing!!!" She picked up her pace; entering the Quicksand her eyes widened. If she thought the streets were busy, this Tavern/Inn was even busier! So many people crammed in one place talking, laughing, and drinking. Her shoulders rolled and she let her cloak slide away. Exposing her clothes underneath. The taffeta top had a hood of it's own of a rich blue-green. The halter-like top covering her chest let her navel be exposed to the open air. Her pale milky flesh a stark contrast in comparison to the rich pigment of her clothing. Her sarouels cinched just below the knees, exposing the grayish leather throngs from her sandals. The pants matching her top. She wanted to jump into the thick of it! Summon one of her instruments and break into song and dance, maybe entice patrons of the Quicksand to join her. Not yet though--- She wanted to measure the "Personality" of this crowd of people. On top of that; she was exhausted from her walk from the outer rims of Eorzea and through the Sagolii desert. For now she leaned against the railing; her cloak draped beside her as she watched and waited.
  7. The sun was beginning to set low over Ul'dah. The greedy jaws of the horizon ready to swallow the sun whole like a massive serpent. This time of twilight was A'quila's time. The young Miqo'te crept out from her hiding place near the Scholar's walk and Alchemist's guild. She had a few hiding spots she'd sleep in during the day. deliberately moving from one to another just in case anyone decided to try and seek her out. The guards always did lose her in this general area; and it had easy access points to the back streets if she needed to flee. For A'quila, this was a prime spot to be. Tonight wouldn't be much different than the others; giving an idle stretch and a stifled yawn she woke herself up. Her black ears giving a twitch and swivel. Listening for any out of the ordinary sounds. Everything seemed in order this evening. A good sign. Giving a smile she readjusted the fingerless gloves on her heavily scarred forearms; hiding the burn scars from view. Then she adjusted her tunic and the mask she had on her belt and began her hunt... Wandering the streets, she felt the pang of hunger grow in her stomach and it was a bitter reminder of why she lived the way she did. Her lionlike tail flicked behind her ankles as she listened; mainly for footsteps. The stumbling shuffle of drunken steps were her calling, and her answer? Lifting the poor drunkard's coinpurse one way or another. She had a small slew of tricks up her sleeves in order to steal; it was all a matter of assessing which way was the best way. Walking along the Merchant's strip; the waif of a young woman moved like a shadow. Her steps quiet, her breathing quiet, her ears alert for sounds. It was all a matter of locating a victim now...
