I Youtubed FF14 RP and got a link to come here --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? I'm in the same boat.IMO SE have pushed out 14 to try and get into the market b4 cata DC, ect.Nov is now free?Seriously would it killed them to wait till XMass or the new year.What annoys me is due to no AH I've started npc selling items that i see in some bazars going for 1k and over because I don't want to leave my comp on overnight.All this is apparently to stop RMT and create a more realistic community?? RUBISH. SE tossed out a game that wasn't ready and like a sheep I bought it cause of the brand name shame on me for forgetting SE's history

so true so true.Hell! FFXI had some nice quest lines going for it as do most MMO's weird I know :? That being said if it was SE first attempt at an MMO I'd tought it out like I did on XI and that turned out great.Though I can't remember XI being like this in the beginging.Probably my fault for setting the barr too high (or all the weird backwards crafting recipies long runs lack of quests and constant grinding) I hope yee won't class me as a blow in but I'm not willing to spend 50 quid and hope it all works out in a few months when barely 3 weeks in my head is this wreked. * Yea I know 50 euro over 3 or 4 months is sweet FA but still I'd rather spend it on FFXI.Airsoft BB's or put it towards a new gun to get some joy out of it I RP to escape for an hour or 2 atm the game feels too much like a chore and a needless one at that. Hope there's no hard feelings :cry:

the rp is great but trying to lvl crafts and make things is driving me nuts.I'll come back after the ps3 release prehaps then they'll have sorted it out btw what servers do rp on FFXI incase i decide to return to that I would of waited another year to play this game if it ment it was done properly.Ironically it's one of the main reasons I left 11.I saw no reason in picking up 2/3 more add ons for 11 when 14 looked like it was loaded with potential

I spent the last while sussing out game mechanics as well as lvling my crafts (which sucks btw ><).Chomping at the bit to RP.ATM I'm out in the middle of nowhere near LL though feel free to FL me

bahh a high number indeed but take into acount the amount that will leave after the 30 days are up , people with 2 or more characters on the server and of course the bots.It will be down to 700 or even500 by xmass.Still I suppose that works out even better for RPer's

Aside from the upcomming hotspots how would you spot an RP'er.Is it just a case of putting names to avatars in game or do we just walk along in walk mode like I used to do in WoW.I tried going by names e.g. what I thought was an RP name was my face red :lol: cause it was a regular gamer

lmao woke up 20 mins ago went to see if the server was up all ff14 data magically gone off of my comp. :cry: I should of stuck with wow working an 8 hour shift today so if I start re installation now it might be done when I get home :twisted:
