  1. Well, this seems comical and amusing. Count good Ol' Dralid as a contestant!
  2. Well, this method of merging is kinda useful. I'll stress out the necessity of pointing the choice in general forums as it might influence a few players out there. I'm one those folks who like to Role-play, yet could not roll Besaid, due to Real-life friends rolling their characters on Mysidia. But hey, the friends are no longer playing and the linkshells have been pretty unstable. I like Mysidia, but I miss Role-play too much to pass on that opportunity. I voted for 9, even though it's only a number. Kinda awkward to assume a number will be popular or not.
  3. Wow, that's a pretty neat set. Tricorne ftw! But I do wonder if they'll put Leves-NM for lower ranks as well. All the NM so far offer gear for the R47-R50ish.
  4. Wow! Good job! Keep up the inspiration for issue No.2!
  5. I think it's more a scheme for SE for upcoming expensions. They pulled that quite a bit in FFXI like for RoZ and ToA. It leave a bit of room for creativity. Whatever the both world are indeed related, very hard to know.
  6. Sadly, a depopulation also take a toll on the intensity of the community. The less people there are on the servers, the less social interactions there are as a whole. MMOs are a social game. The social aspect is trademark of such games. A game might have a robust system, but if the game is empty for some reason, it does lose it's appeal for some players. The game does feel empty at times.. the zones are huges and rather silent. I think I actually miss the random shouts in FFXI. (Yeah.. nostalgia is nasty!) Furthermore, in this instant-gratification culture we live in, why play a frustrating game that should "eventually" get better, when you can get another game out there. This was well-pointed earlier. Hopefully, the upcoming patches and Christmas should help!
  7. That's horribly cute! Kinda... addicting.... too.... Not as cute, but it's great to crack up a smile on a friday: Tom et ses Chums! Farador D&D! It's a DnD parody in quebec slang. Needless to say what does that imply! (part 1) (part 2)
  8. Thanks for the stories! But as a parent, when there are tough decisions to make (i.e. going away for a while) that will have an effect for the child... how does the decision "weigh" on the mind after that? What kind of tension does a parent feel after a while? I'm quite sorry if the question is a bit vague, I'm not really sure on how to phrase it..
  9. As much as I love the Civ games, this is why I'll be staying away from the game for a while. "Well, once I get this tech, i'll save and quit" /Get the tech "Awww.. but I want to see the unit it unlocked" /Built the unit "Oh dang! George Washington just declared war! Curse him" /Mobilize the army. "Must.... defend... city...from.. upcoming ...doom" /Play till the city is safe /look out the window "Huh!? The sun is rising! What happened to the night?" Yeah, and it all started with.. one more turn! Now add FFXIV in the mix. Instant-win for a PH.D in Ermit life-style
  10. That was a hot equation! Dunno if how much  will be around tho. Kinda hesitating on the dramatic twist to give to the whole thing. But don't forget the silliness:
  11. Haha! Thanks! This should had a nice little layer fun on the character. I do have another question but it will wait. I'm hesitant on how to formulate it. A good night sleep will probably help the reflexion.
  12. Greetings! So, RP-wise, the good old Dralid decided to adopt a Miqo'te girl, about 6 years before the beginning of the game. However, his parenting skills are rather... questionable! As are mine, to be honest. Having not much experience around young children nor no great knowledge about the dilemmas of adoption, I am hesitating a bit on how to actually develop the situation. Does anyone have a good idea on how to RP a plausible (and enjoyable!) relationship between a clumsy father and a energetic young child? Any parents out there with some good advices? Thanks!
  13. Interesting work! Thumbs up! But did you have the opportunity of giving the build a field test?
  14. That's quite neat! Good work and keep it up! Ah!The end of the month seem so far away..
