I suppose that's a fact. Worst part of transfering to a new game a few months after launch is trying to figure out the right place to land. I need to look into the difference between Coalition and Intermission... not sure what those are.

Hello, Name is Hrav, been roleplaying for quite a while. (( apologize for dual posts )) Most recent gaming experience has been in Age of Conan, I have led several guilds in my time. Some in Age of Conan, one in Rift, and one in SWTOR. Keep going back to Age of Conan. I found some of the highest quality RP-PvP I've ever experienced. If there are any of you out there who played aoc, say hello! I'm excited about trying this game out, I heard there is a stellar community. Trying to decide between Bal and Gilg right now. Well, we'll see. It seems like the larger community is Balmung from what I can tell. Just not sure if I should hop onto a server full of seasoned vets lol. I suppose it doesn't matter, either way. Does anybody know if there are a lot of new players on Balmung? Or more on Gilg? I'd rather not be the only noob in a sea of vets haha

Thanks Siha, Honestly the biggest thing for me is RP / PvE... so, I believe the main issue is going to be gil usage - as from what I've read when I posted this is the economy will be crazy for a new player with no gil. Not so excited about that, lol. If there is a small Gilg RP community, I'll go Bal, would just just prefer to be on an even playing ground.. though the game's been out a few months now, I'm sure it's kind of evened out.

Hello, I'm new to the community and just purchased the game. Has downloaded and will be playing when I get off work this evening. Was curious, which realm makes more sense for a new player. Bal or Gilg? I see there are two communities. I would also like to know what a legacy server is compared to one that is not. I came from Age of Conan, looking to find some solid RP here.
