I am so hooked on this series. The little boy is entirely sympathetic--in fact I've cried more than once while reading--and while I get the feeling you're not an "and they all lived happily ever after" kind of guy, I hope he at least grows up to wreak havoc on everyone who did him wrong...times ten.
