  1. K'lyrhi's ears rose up as she heard a shout behind her. Before she could even begin to pick herself off of K'ile she felt herself plucked up from behind and unceremoniously tossed off of the Tia. The miqote picked herself back up, still covered in sand and dust, her ears drooping forward a little. Oh she's done screwed up now... "I'm sorry, but he...he was insulting the Nunh." She tried to explain. Oh Azeyma, she felt like such a toddler again... "...and going on about how he won't be Nunh much longer." she added, giving K'ile a dirty look, before looking back at K'iara "...I got angry." K'lyrhi looked distressed when she was told she'd be brought in front of the elders, "But Fathe--K'yohko told me to help gather the huntresses, if he hadn't gone and stopped me..." she protests weakly. It seems much of her previous fire had suddenly gone out from her.
  2. The miqote was breathing heavily, her heart beating rapidly as she practically seethed with anger. By the time the dust had settled K'lyrhi finally notices the Tia underneath her, a hand pinning him down and her fist raised to strike. Much of what happened was a blur for K'lyrhi. She remembered her body moving, breaking into a run. Then there was the collision with K'ile, followed by the impact and tumble upon the sands and then a cloud of blinding dust. No, wait. It was much simpler than that. There was no K'ile. There the threat. A target. And it needed to be taken down. Though now that she's got them pinned down, the miqote struggled to figure out a follow-through, the target wasn't moving. Nor was it making any effort to fight back. The Tia wasn't fighting back. K'lyrhi had to find her words again. "Now I'm not standing around" she gave a retort, the first comeback off the top of her head. "I warned you not to insult my father any further. If you dare try to...usurp his position, you will have me to go through first."
  3. Tribe law says you can't commit violence against another tribe member. K'lyrhi has been struggling to hold back the urge to just sock K'ile in the face throughout the confrontation. Using her claws to solve her problems back in Ul'dah had worked out well enough for her... "We think. Apparently he doesn't" And K'ile was definitely trying to provoke her. She will not be provoked! She'll just need to walk away and-- "He isn't a good hunter..." K'lyrhi clenched her fists as she tried to steer herself away and do what K'yohko had asked her to do...and not get provoked into doing something stupid. "...and he isn't going to be Nunh much longer either" She will not be provo-- K'lyrhi whirled around and literally lunged for K'ile before she could finish the thought. The fact the Tia had distanced himself from her gave her a bit of a running start.
  4. "Someone who took five years to come home does not get to tell me what to do..." The miqote flinched at that comment. That was definitely a sore spot for her... K'lyrhi pulled against K'ile's grip, she turned back to look at the Tia, returning his glare. "And a father looks out for the family and does what he can to protect it, not sit back and hope for the best. Even white coeurl protect the pride." She snarled back, her tail bristling, "So don't you dare insult him further!" The thought about the blood trail gave her pause, albeit briefly as she searched for words for a retort. There definitely wasn't a blood trail, that was the whole point of returning to the camp on foot... "We made sure to cover our tracks, even sent Uncle ahead first and made our way back on foot." She retorts, gritting her teeth. She was loath to give the man more fodder to insult her with.
  5. Oh that struck a nerve. K'lyrhi abruptly extended an arm out to block K'ile's path, her fingers curled into claws. It helps that her own nails were sharp enough to count as them too. The miqote fixed her eyes on him a growl rumbling in her throat, her eyes cold and challenging. "So you propose the Amal'jaa should be left alone to wander as they please?" She demanded, almost snarling it out in her anger, "And let them go back to their camps unscathed, knowing our defenses and perhaps let them make off with some poor sod while they were at it?" K'lyhri spat each accusation out, jabbing at K'ile with a finger. It would seem if there was anything else she inherited from K'yohko it would be his fierce temper. "Coward." She says, completely ignoring the irony in her fury. "You weren't even there and yet you flap your gums about nonsense. A Nunh thinks of the tribe before himself." "Don't you dare disturb my father." She warned, before she roughly pushed past K'ile to start heading to find the rest of the huntresses.
  6. It broke K'lyrhi's heart seeing her father so injured, and equally frustrated her that his pride wouldn't let her help him. She had expected to be scolded one last time, but the faint acknowledgement that she was part of the family caught her off guard, though had the right enough effect of reassuring her. "I...I will, father." she says. She lingered a little to make sure K'yohko did not collapse as her back was turned and was preparing to follow after K'nahli when her ears picked up movement behind her. She quickly turned the face the man approaching her. His harsh voice and questioning quickly making her tense up. "That's because there is one, we came across a scouting party a few malms from here." K'lyrhi answered back curtly, eying the male up and down, almost disapproving. had he not been listening? Her father's voice could well be heard from yalms from here. "The name's K'lyrhi, my father's calling for the huntresses to secure the camp." she introduces herself briefly "I know not who you are, but you best quit standing around and pass the word."
  7. 'Don't touch me!' K'lyrhi promptly backs off from the nunh at those words, her ears were ringing from being in such close proximity to his voice. She looked at her father with a hurt expression, if only briefly. Watching the other girl, who she presumed was a huntress, hurry off to retrieve he weapon brought her mind back to focus on the task at hand. "...I have my weapons here already." she answered, motioning to the cesti she had at her side. Evidently she was trying to contain her emotions as best as she could... "But can you get yourself to the healer's tent? Your wounds still need to be treated...and the tribe cannot have their nunh collapsing." K'lyrhi reasons, mustering as much courage as she could to talk back to her father. As she said this, she gave a quick glance around the campsite to see where the other miqote around here seem to be gathering.
  8. Actually instead of the mystery Elezen woman being Shiva in disguise, I have a thought that she might have somehow ascended into a Primal, not unlike the fayth from FFX. An earlier scene in the storyline had a Sahagin priest doing that exact thing. The fact that the Primals all have a resemblance to their respective beast races can't be a coincidence.
  9. Theta would love this as well. She needs more...samples...from these obviously dangerous aetheric beasts for the sake of advancement that does not involve weapons of mass destruction and/or mortal experimentation!
  10. I'd be up for joining this as well~ Theta's a SMN (ilevel 93) doing a bit of research on some artifacts of allagan that has unfortunately come into her possession (and on her person) and would definitely be interested in investigating some more ruins! Though if this isn't going to be an RP event, that's fine as well! I want that Scylla top!
  11. The event of the pass few minutes seemed like a blur for K'lyrhi as she watched the other tribe members quickly carry her uncle off to the healer's tent. She kept an eye as the healers (one seemed to be an outsider?) proceed to treat the miqote, peering from the edge of the tent flap with worry. The fact she had been responsible for their injuries, even if indirectly, weighed heavily in the back of her mind. The fact that she found herself almost lost among the rest of her supposed tribe certainly chose now to be the perfect time to hit her. That she was no different from just another outsider... ...K'lyrhi shook her head, quickly diverting her attention away from such thoughts. She turned her attention back to the tent her father had went into earlier, only to see him being led out, barely able to stand. Strike two. "Oh no..." She hurries to the two's side, making sure not to trip over herself. She hurriedly tried to support the other side of the nunh, to ease the burden on the other girl, not caring for any initial protests until she's got a good grip on her father. She was at least stronger than her demeanor might have suggested, even if her courage could use some work... "The healers are busy with Unc--K'hai." She says, "Lemme help you get him to the tent." She should have been more insistent on dressing those wounds...
  12. K'lyrhi gave a blank stare at her father's word, blinking a few times. "Wait...which one's her te---oooh right." She gave a nod, trying to feign that she had an idea and wasn't just clueless. Atually coming back 'home' after so long was rather hard to take in. Or rather it was too easy to take in, the campsite felt strange and foreign; much has changed her sense her absence. It seemed like she was too lost in thought, as she allowed K'hai to head off without paying a visit to "K'zhumi"... Strike one... "Wait, Unca'! You should be getting those wounds tended to!" She calls out, trying to keep pace with him. It was when he finally collapsed at the tent entrance no sooner after K'yohko went in did she rush to his side. "You can barely stand! 'Ye need treatment, even if ah have to carry you back!"
  13. I'd be interested in joining up with this as well. Don't have a lowbie character at the moment but can certainly make one for it! Especially since they recently started party roulettes too!
  14. "Well..the porter passed Beaky over to me on a discount..." K'lyrhi says, before pausing in her excuses, "But yeah...I still need more practice." Beaky, for once, actually listens to its rider. Though K'lyrhi can tell by the nervous glance the over-sized bird gave her that her recently reacquainted uncle is a lot more harsher than she is. Though that doesn't really much to the miqoye, K'lyrhi just gives a happy grin and waves as she sees the bird off on its journey. ...serves it right. K'lyrhi's ears perked up as she's called, she quickly followed to catch up to K'yohko. At least, for all her faults, she can still keep pace with the Nunh like a regular member of his tribe.
  15. K'lyrhi led her chocobo over to K'hai, helping the injured miqote atop of it. "A'ihght Beaky, ah want you to follow that coeurl over there." She says, pointing over to her father's current beast of burden. Unfortunately, the bird didn't seem to be following what she was saying...or perhaps choosing to ignore her. K'lyrhi frowned at that, pulling the bird's saddle reins towards her and staring at it face to face. One was liable to accidentally have their eyes pecked out getting so close to a chocobo like that. It seems like they were about to engage in a staring contest before K'lyrhi pulls out what ws left of her greens and offers it to the bird. She then proceeds to repeat her previous gestures, turning it to face the coeurl and pointing at her mount and towards. "Follow that and you get what ah got left 'ere, deal?" She could only hope the bird scarfing up the leaves out of her hands was a sign of agreement.
