  1. As Roswyn said, yes the devs have said inter-racial breeding happens in Eorzea. But there are no in-game models that demonstrate this, nor questlines that mention it. The only way I could see it happening is that the dominant traits completely override everything else so that if an Elezen and Lalafell did mate their offspring would only look like one of the two parents.
  2. Few more submissions from Crofte. She knows he's out there somewhere up north. Hoping he's thinking about her. A quick stretch before a morning swim? It's a long way down... She'll make a good wife someday. Her legs... for the Sultana!
  3. Smell the burning flesh; Taste the tangy, sulfur air; Volcano season.
  4. She shrugged to herself and took one of the smaller, yet newer looking books. It looked like some work of fiction, which would be ideal in her mind. Turning back to the man she moved over to where he had been rummaging and examined the broach. "I'm afraid I wouldn't feel quite right with the earring knowing its second was missing somewhere. The broach is quite lovely however. I think that should make a nice gift for my friend. She has been out of sorts lately." She tapped her chin in thought for a moment with her other hand turned upwards, holding the book to her chest. "Very well, what would I owe you for this and the book?"
  5. Coatleque tries to leave Thanalan at any IC chance she can get. Her duties do not allow that often, however. But I like having that conflict of interest. It makes interaction that much more meaningful when I DO get to RP elsewhere. Like a few days ago, she and Warren had dinner with Roen and Hornet at the Bismark. It was actually the first time she even ate at the Bismark. I had a lot of fun, even if the conversation drifted up and down in mood quite a few times.
  6. She almost jumped back at the speed by which he was upon her. Had she not been trained as she was, she would have surely knocked something over. She did keep her footing, however, and regarded the man curiously. He was the first merchant around these parts that hadn't shied away from her in a good two months now. "I assure you I am no spirit, Ser." she half chuckled at him. It may have just been that his forward nature was refreshing to her, but she found herself actually more interested in his shop now. "A bracelet? That does sound lovely, but perhaps you have something of a more natural look. Perhaps amber, or amethyst? And it need not be jewelry, mind you." All the while she had found her way to a shelf and was slowly reading through the titles.
  7. Coatleque stepped into the shop quietly. She wore the white dress that people were now accustomed to seeing her in. Red hair tucked behind her ears below a matching beret. She held her gil purse from the top with both hands before her. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light of in-doors, she found herself surrounded by all manner of mismatched sundries. This place was not at all what she expected from a name that began with "Crooked". Looking around she took a deep breath and slowly began meandering around items and between rows, finding it hard to maneuver in the close space. Nothing seemed suspicious to her, however. Most of it appeared as overly gaudy junk designed to make the poor feel affluent. Perhaps there was something she could use...
  8. Coatleque simply uses the Grand Company mount she was issued for official use by the Palace. It has been a faithful 'steed' to date, but if she has any love for the bird, she refuses to show it.
  9. Coatleque's sword was a commissioned winglet she had made after she officially swore her oath to the Sultana. It is a bastard sword with a fairly average looking blade that shines with a slight blue tinge. The steel has been aetherically enhanced with ice crystals to harden it and gives it a perpetually cold touch (not as cold as ice, but definitely cooler than normal). She calls it Halone's Ire. It's not a 'magic' sword, mind you. The enhancement only helps to keep the edge keen longer than simple steel. Otherwise it is truly a Paladin's weapon, with an ornate mahogany handle set with gold filigree and a hefty pommel for balance.
  10. Well... I volunteered us both. But Roen has better qualifications to be a sacrifice. (as far as I know) Also, the title of this thread keeps making me think of this...
  11. Pfff... who did you think I meant when I volunteered above?
  12. Floating asteroid. Need to buy some school supplies You're soaking in it. (SGC2C reference...)
  13. Well, to clarify, Coatleque hasn't been dumped IC. But she is mountainless for the next two weeks or so. So sure, they can curl up together and cry over the feels.
  14. Well, since it's obvious that Coatleque is such a bad kisser now, she'll make out with your sugar cane, and then go turn it into chocolate ice cream to drown her sorrows with.
  15. For some reason, I found this to be amusing in and of itself...
  16. She waits for him now One day her love shall return How to pass the time?
  17. If you need a red-headed 'virgin' babe for the cultists to sacrifice to their god only to be rescued at the last minute, I know a girl who has experience at being kidnapped! And another one who might volunteer...
  18. Pfff, all I did was get the page created for you. It's your job to fill it in now.
  19. It's like a whole side of Kiht nobody's seen before.

  21. As a Miqo'te, his DEX is probably kind of low. This could be explained as him being off-balance and not used to the size and strength change between the races, but after enough time is passed this number would surely rise. Constitution is a measure of physical health, endurance, resistance to poison/disease/alcohol. I'd give Roe's the highest CON in Eorzea. But this stat could honestly be the one that varies the most between all races, as some are just naturally born sicklier than others. You can be as strong as an ox and still be knocked out after just one ale. Or have severe allergies. Or catch a cold every other month.
