*sneaks in and dumps a bunch of screenies* Miqo'tesssss *heavy breaths* Mentally preparing for another training session Lala Meriel...which at some point I seriously thought of.... But then I liked the Highlander Meri BUT THEN! I remembered I have to buy a fantasia potion...so I got lazy.. Celebrating our FC house in one of the rooms... Then Meriel went "hurr..lolz"

Meriel treats everyone equally, since she gets nervous around everyone.., but she would get more open and more friendly around women than around men.

Meriel glanced at where the luggage are and grinned "let's go get them!," she nodded at the Miqo're beside her "we can grab them and run outside...hopefully without being hit by..any other flying objects" she said almost confidently, This would be the first time she'd ever done something...daring,even if it is not a very serious situation, she felt...good, she felt that this life suited her, more than the life in the church. with fire in her eyes, she stormed from under the table, running past the Frozen lalafell, who have been screaming bloody murder with his eyes, and jumping over the passed out drunks, either from being beaten..or from drinking, she wouldn't know, the tavern is in a crazy state, she pitied whoever will clean the aftermath.
-
"luckily no injuries so far" she giggled "I was able to dodge a flying chair that came out of no where." she said grinning wide. Meriel turned to check the fight, noticing a mad Lalafel running with a fire broom, she raised her eyebrows at him "well, this turned into something... Interesting" she said to herself. noticing the miqo'te beside her who was distracted by something, she tilted her head asking "what's wrong?"
-
When the situation became dangerous, Meriel decided it's to leave. She returned her journal book inside her bag preparing to stand up, as she stood up she was greeted by a flying chair that one of the drunken Roegadyns found it amusing to throw. Meriel squat barely dodging it, breathing a sigh of relief with her reflexes, she opened her eyes continuing her walk to a safe place. an object tapped her feet, She glanced at it to check where it came from, she noticed a dark skinned miqo'te crawling between the fighting drunkers feet. Meriel held the thrown staff, protecting it from the merciless stomping drunks, she crawled towards the miqo'te, checking every direction before advancing. She dragged her as quickly as possible under the nearest table, although it was challenging she was able to avoid getting hit since everyone was looking for anyone who is standing on his feet looking for a fight "Here you go," Meriel said handing the Miqo'te the staff, giving her a small soft smile "It would've been bad if it got crushed, right? Are you okay?"
-
Meriel let out a sigh as she drank the last of her camomile tea, feeling her muscles relax a bit, delivering boxes of iron ore from Ul'dah to the Leatherworkers' guild in Gridania was a task like no other to her, mainly because she never traveled this far before in her life. "why would leather workers ask for iron ore anyway?" Meriel wondered ,she shrugged dismissing her curious self "what's important is I got paid, I better not dwell on such things". she took out her journal and started writing..or tried to...as a loud burp interrupted her -creative- chain of thought. Meriel fought the urge to look at the source of the noise, if anything, she learnt from her visits to the Quicksand, is to never make eye contact with loud customers, so she decided to not take any chances here either, turning her focus to the empty page on the table before her.

((This is Meriel's adventures journal!since I'm away on a trip, I had some time to write A bit..i was planning on writing a story...but ended up writing a journal, Please correct me.if I'm messing with the lore..unintentionally..)) - Dear diary[scratched Dear journal[scrached] [unidentified messy scratching] Well then I'll be keeping a journal[scratch] I'll be writing my daily memories here, I heard adventurers used this method to store their epic stories. ..maybe I'll get to write my own, someday. so, I finally arrived to the city, It's been a tiresome trip...went longer than I expected..probably because the carriage that I took from Drybone kept avoiding roads rumored to be raiders' favourites, so we ended up taking a lot of turns and "shortcuts". When I finally entered the gates, I was dumbfounded by how crowded the city is, I believe I stood there like a fool, my mouth open in awe for hours...I didn't know where to go!, how to start looking for leads, or where...where would i spend the night?...funny how these questions didn't spring into my head before storming to the city. A man called wymond directed me to The Quicksands, the city tavern, said to be the best place for collecting information, so I did, and sat down on one of the tables, trying to act invisible, not ideal for asking around, I know...there were a lot of adventurers, laughing, drinking, and I believe some of them were fighting, this tavern is bigger than the one in Drybone, much bigger, which made me too nervous to talk to anyone. I finally built up the courage to talk to someone, a girl who introduced herself as Raikemi and a Lalafel...who I don't quite remember her name...I think she never introduced herself...or maybe it's just my memory. We talked a bit then I told Raikemi why I came to the city, she offered her help, she said it's what she does, i felt lucky, I never thought that I would find help at the first day...the benefits of being more social i guess.., later a man in armor called Rufus, came to the table, he said he heard our talk..and wanted to help, Raikemi didn't like the idea, well..thats what i saw anyway... they later started bickering with each other, which was amusing to watch! she started calling him "knight in not so shining armor", I thought they really suited each other...loudly...Raikemi didn't react as Rufus did...who started shifting in his place, I think he was Embarrassed...ah well, here I am again filling this page with my unnatural observations...knowing myself..that will happen a lot. After Rufus excused himself, a Miqo'te came to talk to Raikemi...she said he looks like a pineapple...or a chocobo...probably because of his hair color,..she then settled with "chocobo pineapple"...does that actually exist?...if so, i really want to see one!. I excused myself later..I had to go rest before going to find a way to earn Gil..or else I'll be sleeping on the streets at a time..since I only had whatever the father gave me. Which is not so much to live in a city like Ul'dah. we agreed on asking around for clues, and meet again in the Quicksand, then booked a room at the Innwhich made finding a job even more urgent. ...now that i think about it....I am a fool... oh well ...and here I am writing on my new adventures journal, in my Inn room... for some reason..Ifeel good about my decision of leaving, despite everyone's warnings... I hope the feeling is accurate... ~
