This is a Linkshell developed to help people plot with other people, create backstories together, help others with their own backstories, and help people with their RP in general. The linkshell itself is OOC and intended to to act to help people of all RP levels, from light to heavy get into their characters and then flesh them out by interweaving backstories together for new and interesting stories. I need several people for a plot. My character a few years ago was a pirate, and gave it all up. Because he moved his life to Ul'Dah he has been well hidden, though the Maelstrom is still looking for him. He was known by the monicker 'The Fist of the Sea'. Breeze now tries to hide from that name, but recent events saw him degrading into that old personality which may have attracted attention. So what I'd like to have are Maelstrom Officers who might be on the lookout. Bounty Hunters who would want the bounty on his head. Pirates that he may have served with, and a few that might want him dead for a betrayal of the pirate code. and lastly and completely optional A Roegadyn Sea Wolf woman that he would have once had a trist with. Nothing serious, but important for his story. Oh God, Ragnar... Sorry, sorry. In my D&D group for years before Skyrim even came out. Ragnar has been a name multiple people has used when playing either a Human or Half-Orc Barbarian... So the name Ragnar has a special place in my heart... So I'd love to RP with you Ragnar.

Greetings. I'm just looking for a few people to connect with on the server. Show me the RP ropes, develop a little story with my character, and all that jazz. Nothing big. I'm not a newbie RPer just a newbie to this game, and I like to have an in before I just jump into RP. So, a love interest, a best friend, just someone who wants to mentor my character. Anything like that would be cool. As for my character, I've decided to keep him simple as I could till I understand the lore deeper. Just a simple Hyur Highlander merchant from Ul'Dah who decided to take up the sword to seek his fortune out in the rest of Eorzea. He's a lighthearted character who tries not to take himself too seriously. I know it sounds undeveloped and that's because it is. I want to develop his story and personality through RP as I think it should happen.

Yo, sup. How's it going. I'm pretty new to the game, just a month. I'm not new to RPing on an MMO and am a survivor from City of Heroes. As we refer to ourselves for some off the wall reason. Anyway, though I'm no stranger to RP I'm having a hard time getting into RP on Balmung. I blame it on my social anxiety gripping my online personas now. I'm on another server playing with some real life friends but when I get a few moments I hop on and level my Breeze on Balmung. I'm just here looking for a FC and a Linkshell or two to help me get my feet wet so I can eventually dive right in. So... Hey!

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I'm a heavy RPer and try to be in character as much as possible. I haven't RPed in an MMO in a couple years since the shutdown of my home game City of Heroes, but since getting the hang of this game with my friend on another sever, I've been itching to get back in. Views on RP combat and injuries: It just depends on the situation. I won't kill anyone in an RP fight, or do serious injuries, nor will I take them. I will do superficial ones, but I don't do much in the way of RP fighting. Views on IC romance: I wouldn't say no to it. Breeze wouldn't mind someone to partner up with, someone to go on adventures with, fight alongside, and cause mischief with. He's a dashing rogue type, so he'll be more on the side of hitting on every lady he comes across, but if one can get past his advances he might find a genuine attraction. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): If someone wants to play a long lost member of Breeze's family, I'm for it. Breeze left his parents when he was very young, so they idea that he could have siblings he's unaware of, or distant relatives isn't that farfetched. Just depends on if anyone would really wanna do that. Views on lore: I've kept Breeze's background and history pretty short, keeping within what I know of the lore. Games have lore for a reason, respect it, read up on it, and it'll give you more RP opportunities than making up your own.
