With Heavensward almost upon us, I've been feeling the Ishgardian spirit. I've been fond of Ishgard ever since I first journeyed through Coerthas and since I've not really role-played much in FFXIV, I decided a quick character change was in order. I didn't want to do the "Oh, I've been in Ishgard all along" thing, so I threw together a few ideas and wrote a brief background for your reading pleasure. I have a preference for naturally progressing role-play, so I have no concrete plans, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Gwyn gets up to. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this brief intro.

Yes, Ser Gwyn is a combatant, she's a knight, but the RP I'm interested in is distinctly non-combat. I want noble intrigue, manipulative clergy and courtly romance. The vibe I get from the Ishgardian stuff we've seen so far is that kind of classic medieval drama, where it's all shiny on the outside and utterly rotten to the core.

Hello FFXIV RP type peoples! I've just re-subbed to the game and re-rolled on Balmung so that I can get my RP on. I'm currently playing as a Hellsguard lancer by the name of Vorna Daelundmyr. I don't really have any concrete RP plans as of yet, I'm just getting back into the swing of things and seeing what I come across. If you see me about, feel free to say hi.
