Hello, everyone!
I'm excited to finally get the opportunity to roleplay in this great game. I've been playing since launch, but up until now haven't participated in roleplay. I had been playing with a Miqo'te, but unfortunately their culture and naming conventions weren't that interesting to me, so I ultimately decided to stay away from roleplay and just enjoy the game.
But that's changing now with the introduction of the Au'Ra!
A little bit of background first! While this will be my first time roleplaying in a videogame, I'm very much familiar with roleplay itself. I'm actually a forum roleplayer first and foremost, having participated in that for nearly 12 years. I started out at the tender age of 13 on a place called MSN Groups, where roleplaying forums and websites were numerous and active. I made a lot of friends, and it was so much fun letting my imagination go wild through writing. It's something I've carried with me to young adulthood, and is partly why I'm so excited to try my hand at it for the first time in a MMO!
One of my best friends is fellow member of this site Ryanti Veanysus, and he's actually who convinced me to finally try my hand at this. While RPing in an actual game may be new and daunting to me, I look forward to meeting the challenge, and hope I get the opportunity to interact with many of you here.
