While I wait at the gates of Balmung, I though I might tweek my desired character a bit. This is Yumiko Wakahisa. I forgot exactly the meaning of her name, but it had to do with "Longevity" Her age is unkown because I don't know the Au Ra lifespan. She's somewhat of an inventor, the "Error and trial" kind, so she is or was known for being the girl that can make a toaster go BOOM! Her place of birth is still undefined, but I want to avoid Doma because to my understanding, is more about traditions and stuf... I could possibly make her Garlean due to their technology, but I lack the proper information about the Garlean Empire. Now... personality... I'm trying to do something I can handle, so she's a direct person who talks before thinking things through, specially if things don't go her way. Due to her brother and failed experiments, she is kinda a control freak, trying that people and things go as she desires and react as she desires. I think I might be missing stuff... my kind of RP is improvised, so I tend to come up with things at the moment... but that's what this post is for, to develop her correctly.

Want to get in Balmung? Get behind me...! But in all seriousness, if you want to be a Heavy Roleplayer, I suggest you analize your main to see if it has what it takes for the role. My opinion? Heavy, make a new one. Medium, transfer.

I have a plan thanks to Unnamed Mercenary, a plan that I will carry on this week! And with any luck, I'll finally be part of Balmung's society! As for you, something I discovered by accident: They made it so that if you stay innactive for more than 30 minutes, you log out automatically, however, that doesn't apply if you're watching cutscenes! I fell asleep for about an hour and a half, and the game was still in the scene I left it. Could be usefull for you if you don't want to be kicked out by the traffic...

Its still a better lead from what I had before...

That costs money, money I currently have in check due to my lack of income, so its either the transfer and namechanging, or continue to pay the subscription... Plus, I already designed my character in both appaerance and background, I have already a purpose and so on!! Customizing characters and such is what I like the most, wich is why I have so many characters in my comics...

My name is Desmond, and ever since I've heard that FF XIV actually DO support Roleplay, I've been trying to get inside the temple of Balmung, where all the RP magic happens! Thing is... its incredibly full! Can't make a character in there...! "Why not transfer?" I hear you saying... Well, my currently Main Character "Elena Elizondo" wasn't created with an RP purpose, she's more of an avatar of what I'd like for a protagonist of a game ouob So while I sneak in Balmung, I was invited here by BearCave who told me this would be the best place to get knowledge of how they usually RP in Balmung, so here I am! At the door, reading rules and whatnot while I try to enter said park! I'm a little rusty when it comes to RolePlay, but I'm not that bad since I have the ability to create comics and whatnot, and keep them each In Character If I can do that, RP is not that big of a trouble, it'd be more like an interactive comic :love: Well... I suppose that is a fair introduction, and I hope we can become... accuantiances... or something... (I don't say friends because I'm a cliche breaker... or attempt to be)
