Does anyone...well, know when the Heavensward specific version is coming out? I picked up Before The Fall from iTunes, slowly working on getting A Realm Reborn (mother of everything so much money I can only get it a bit at a time). I rather like the theme that plays in the Heavensward main menu before you log into the game, was also wondering if that's been out as well.

Need a bit of a Cliffs' Notes version of the Ishgardian Houses, any rivalries, and on Dragoons in general if possible? You all were really helpful when I put together my little summoner. Also-I've noticed there are Hyur in Ishgard. Any idea where they came from or do they live in surrounding areas?

Hello, I'm new from Famfrit and looking to give FF RP a try. Currently I have one lvl 46 character, an OOC summoner but IC Arcanist/Assistant Lorekeeper. I have previous RP experience, coming from Moon Guard in Warcraft (been playing that from 2006). Currently looking to be in a guild that has medium/heavy RP. My availability would be 3-4 nights a week, and weekends. I'm also interested in doing PVE content-instances and raids.

1.) It does. 2.) Ul'dah has the Ossuary, run by the Thaumaturges, Limsa has kind-of a library thing run by Arcanists. I don't know what Gridania has, but they probably have something similar. If that's the case-does the idea of a traveling Arcanist who works for whatever equiv of a library that Gridania has- a traveling Arcanist who's an assistant for the...building, so to speak, who finds books for them- work?

Hello again! I finally got my xfer to Balmung, and picked up Heavensward. I read up on the lore, and I'm starting to finally fine-tune my character, but there were one or two things I wanted to ask... Given that Ul'dah in the lore is known for it's gambling and gladiator rings, is it too much of a stretch to assume that the city has a rather active underworld when it comes to those two things? Second: Is it also a stretch to assume that the major cities also have...well, libraries of sorts? Or in this case, Lore-Keepers?

Hmmm, this is all really useful! I didn't know the history involving the summoner or any major magical class was that complicated.

Ah-ha!! I didn't know that, so I will just change that bit. Good to know. What is a passable non-lore breaking magical job/class that I coulse use ICly then?

Hello. I'm starting to put together my character's bio, and I needed a check on something. I was thinking of having her as a summoner ICly, which fits well with her story-a battle magic user for hire. How does rping a summoner work ICly? I know not to run around and godmode/metagame and all that- but are there any major lore concepts I should look out for? Or be careful of?

Hello, I'm Riven-currently on Famfrit, but will be transferring to Balmung (when I get my paycheck next week, heh heh). I am an experienced RPer, primarily from Warcraft (I have several characters on Moon Guard, been there from '07). However given quite a bit of OOC drama and stress, I decided to give FF 14 a try. So far I'm liking it, but I miss RP-and I'd like to get my feet wet. I have background and everything else set up for my character-but I was wondering, are there any major dos or don'ts when it comes to FF 14 lore, or is it the basic 'no godmodding' and whatnot?
