Welcome aboard! : ] Experience comes in time. The most important aspect of roleplay is to have fun, no matter the experience level! Shoot, even the most experienced folk of any skill or talent had to start somewhere.

Hey there, As others have stated, welcome to the RPC. I quite like your character ideas. If you need a roleplay contact let me know and I'll gladly roleplay with you. Best of luck on the double majoring. That sounds pretty tough.

If you are willing to restart you might be able to sneak into Balmung with a new character right before server downtime. Of all the people who got into Balmung (That I know of) without paying, that is how they did it. Otherwise, a server transfer might do you well. If you happen to use the transfer option, I'd make sure to make seven or so characters so you can transfer them all at once during one transfer. You could also look up character names that already exist on Balmung and name your characters as those. You can get a free name change that way (You'll need to use it before logging into that character). But hey, free name change and a free fantasia (Loyalty bonus) and you pretty much have a new character slot. Good luck!

Welcome back! If you need another for a adventure or mystery solving roleplay let me know and I'll gladly join in. -
Oh I see. I'll definitely keep that in mind then! Thank you again for taking the time to type up that guide. It would seem I got some learning to do in regards to those casino games. lol Well, that or get carried by a (hopefully) good team in PvP. I'll probably go towards PvP.

Oh I will definitely keep those options in mind. Which shield do either of you believe would be easier to acquire? I have a rough idea on the gold saucer but that is pretty much limited to those scratchers.

Thank you, I was concerned that (main) implied the main page. While I would welcome the influx of attention to my incomplete character page, I don't think the site administrators would like that. lol That is pretty interesting regarding the weapons and crystals. Oh well, I'm just happy that I can dye gear and glamour it. lol Unfortunately, I'll always been spoiled with GW2's dye system. Now THAT was a dye system.

Thank you for the kind welcome and advice. : ] I happened to find the Move menu but I am unsure of what (main) implies. For reference what I'm talking about, see below. Is that a option I just leave default? For glamour purposes, I've leveled up glad to ~50 and I'm working on a warrior so I can wear the same glamour between the two. I need to find if there is a "Emperor's new shield" or something small so it can look like I don't have a shield at all. That storm's elite cutlass caught my eye. I'll just need to farm up some company seals now.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I try to leave all doors open in terms of where my character can end up. It makes things quite interesting. Yeah, its some stuff about the wiki. I got a page set up already albeit with a incorrect name. lol I might take you up on your offer and ask you some tribe questions when I develop him a bit more.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) for your character-Just for Fun
Berkborn replied to Lady Whiteraven's topic in Fun Prompts
I took some time to fill out the test. I tried to answer according to how C'rookh would answer. C'rookh is now defined as a ENFP-t Extraverted: 98% Intuitive: 80% Feeling: 87% Prospecting: 100% Turbulent 57% I don't know what these numbers and percentages mean but the strengths and weaknesses seem to align correctly but some are still a miss. ... Though, when I took a gander at the third page, I got this gem "Campaigners have the advantage of irresistible charm when it comes to attracting a partner - ... " I was clearly mistaken on the earlier comments. This test is 100% accurate. -
There have been some very creative fighting styles so far. I really enjoyed reading them. With this newfound knowledge, I can brew up a fighting style that counters everyone! lol I kid. As such with any challenging raid boss, there are 'phases' to his fighting style. Phase One I believe C'rookh would probably try to broker a deal or apologize since the one attacking him would probably be someone he stole from. C'rookh has a silver tongue so why not use it? If the opponent could be talked down or bought off then it might be a better way of ending the conflict opposed to having bloodshed and the heat that comes with it. However, if words fail him then it could be safe to say that the fight would commence into phase two. Phase Two Whelp, better run! C'rookh is a Miqo'te. He is not going to be overpowering some Highlander or Roegadyn thug but he could probably take on a fellow Miqo'te or Lalafell. Fortunately, he wears cheap wool and patchwork leather. Some light armor which doesn't quite slow him down too much. It can work wonders against someone chasing after him in full plate. This is probably the time C'rookh will pretend to be a civilian is distress. C'rookh has to put those Brass Blades to work somehow since they just stand there throughout the day. If the attacker is able to keep up and avoid the trickery then the fight can proceed to phase three. Phase Three It looks like C'rookh will have to fight now that he is out of options for running and hollering! What could he have in store for the perpetrator? Well, C'rookh would have a trusted cutlass for his perpetrator. Of course, C'rookh isn't the one who trusts the blade itself; that would be the previous owner. It is a cutlass with a red hued hilt adorned with steel trim and a very worn looking blade. It could be said that it was nabbed from a pirate or sailor. This is due to the fact that there is a crude marking of a herring scratched into the hilt. C'rookh's sword play, if one were call it that, is definitely more showy than effective. If he is boozed up then it'll probably be sloppy as well. To put it in simple terms, he wields this blade with a single handed drunken finesse. Parry maneuvers are attempted above all other maneuvers. His other hand is all about dishing out the dirt, literally! Everything that can be used to give C'rookh a upper hand will undoubtedly be utilized. From a pouch of sand / dirt in his pouch pocket to a sack of caltrops.

Hey, folks. I'm new here. I took some time to fill out the newbie template. Check it out! MMORPG background I first started with MMOs with World of Warcraft. I played a Undead Warlock back when they were designated as the "support" mushroom class in the DPS, Tank, and Healer trinity. Later on, I started focusing on tank classes. Some other MMO include: Guild Wars 2, Planetside 2, and FFXIV. I primarily enjoy world exploration and large scale world PvP. It is safe to say I am competitive for PvP. Strangely, I have not gotten into FFXIV PvP. For both PvE and PvP, I opt for tanking and/or bruiser roles. RP experience I've had my fair share of text based roleplay and in person roleplay through D&D sessions. I can't say I have too much experience with roleplay within a MMO. Off the top of my head, I could say that exploration and slice of life roleplays are probably my favorites. Story driven roleplays are also a plus where there is a long term objective that a character can slowly work towards. I value the journey more than the destination. I immensely enjoy survival aspect roleplays. Yep, I'm the dude who keeps track of food, water, and inventory space during D&D sessions. The character I have the most experience has to be a orcish warrior archetype. A character who is brash, straight-forward and simple minded. I typically opt out of any sort of magical, unnatural abilities, and teleportation since I prefer more conventional solutions to roleplay problems. I try to balance out every positive aspect of my character with a disadvantageous aspect. Character ideas/info For FFXIV, I want to play as a roguish character for a change of pace. I have a melting pot of ideas so I'll just list them as quick points. Constructive feedback is always welcome!
