  1. IMHO, It's like the Elin and Popori in Tera. In RP they're pretty much a joke. Most people figure those playing the elin are either Pedobait or a creepy dude. and the Popori are fat, silly animal people. They're the 'odd' race out in FF14. Just about every MMO has one.
  2. Plenty of people talk about this game! It's the forefather of a ton of games today! Heck, Smash TV was one of the first of what is considered a 'rogue like'. Look at binding of isaac. Here's one list of twin stick shooters, most of these are great games too. Here's another list of just top down shooters. Shows how the genre evolved into a sort of puzzle/skill related game with Hotline Miami and the like. The genre is well and alive, and I'm glad. Twin stick shooters are some of the most engaging and entertaining games there are. Heck, I've sat for two hours and played Geometry wars in one sitting.
  3. Love this song, and the movie it's the theme for so much. MV_3Dpw-BRY
  4. They're already here. Oh yeah, 10/10 totally would. I need to get in on that!
  5. Also, a lack of male Miqo'te dancers. Might be time to pick up a new hobby! It is probably taboo! Isn't that what makes it fun? Hah. I imagine my character would look silly. Do what feels good, I say.

  8. Exactly! Although it is only head-canon, I have used "The Ul'dahn" style of dancing to mean just that. As an entertainer in Ishgard it was the most important style in her repertoire, though in an incomplete and different form given the distance and isolation (one example: Ishgardian dancers of the style do not use finger cymbals, instead relying on bells sewn into their costumes to generate rhythmic percussion, they also do not have access to the exquisite body-jewelry that is a hallmark of the arts true practitioners in the Jewel of the Desert). I view dancers who also moonlight as prostitutes the exception to the rule. Meaning, While I'm sure most dancers don't prostitute, there are those that do and they're the ones helping reinforce the ideal.
