I'm thinking Miqo'te Seeker of the Sun. As for cities I'm stuck between Limsa Lominsa and Gridania. I'll have to wait till more city info comes out.

I thought it would be nice to post RP tips for beginners. I'd love to hear your suggestions on creating a character, finding a guild that fits your style, etc. Anything you think is good to know feel free to share!

It's been waaaaay too long since SE divulged some info on FFXIV. I really hope that make a big announcement. It's annoying that they're so secretive about everything.
