  1. I want to find eyeglasses for my character but I can't figure out where to get them? Are they cash shop items? (I hope not)
  2. Good luck with your FC! I personally prefer Log Horizon a lot over Sword Art Online.
  3. That makes sense. I was actually trying to chain two of my skills which I normally chain. Guess that won't do. I did end up making a "transformation" sequence between gearing up and going back to my casual clothes though. http://plays.tv/video/5655f7ff0837f9efa0
  4. Mmmyep. The next best thing is either repeated use of the /doze macro or just finding a comfortable-looking sitting position. Some of the "sleeping" motions look strange, though: I know highlander males and lalafell snooze soundly enough, but miqo'te women lounge like they're talking about boys and elezen ladies pose in a very provocative manner, neither of which look quite comfortable for sleeping. I'm not well versed with the macro usage. Can you give an example of a macro that repeats /doze every interval like say 1 second until I stop it? I'm not in game to test it, but you might be able to rig something up with /doze /wait 5 /doze /wait 5 and just paste that as many times as you can. There's a limit to macro characters, though, so you wouldn't be able to make it last hours. The /doze animation while standing or sitting seems to be mostly-nodding off and then jolting back awake, though. You can also combine wait commands onto the same line (was added because crafters matter too). So something like /doze motion Thanks! That frees up more spaces. I figured I can just use the /shut command while sitting. Using /doze makes my character open his eyes before the emote starts. EDIT: Do wait commands accept decimal points? (E.g. 1.25, 1.5, etc) SE stated once that they only allow lying down in homes is to make it harder for ERPers to do their dirty business. I haven't seen any ERPers though, at least, not yet, or publicly.
  5. Ah that sucks. I'm an adventure dammit, I have to be able to sleep wherever my feet takes me. Mmmyep. 7. So how do I make my character lie on beds? Sometimes I find a sort of inn that doesn't really offer the inn functionalities (Camp Drybone comes to mind) there are beds but I can only sit on it. Is lynig down an emote I will unlock later in the game or as a sidequest? Sometimes when it's night in game I want to let my character sleep while I do other real-life stuff like make food, etc.
  8. Into the removers inventory. Its tolerable though, I have 2 people with shared permissions, one who i've known for quite some time has carte blanche and can shift things around as he pleases. The other has gardening permissions, Stable permissions, but not furniture permissions. (As a note, tenants can enter locked houses without any issue.) Alright, thanks for the information! I'm still kinda new to this so still trying to grasp at things.
  9. Ohh I understand now, I thought it worked similar to FC houses. I guess with that limitation it is indeed going to be a shared living quarters between trusted peers. If a tenant removes a furniture, does it get sent to their inventory? Or does it go back to the house's owner? I would imagine owners don't want their tenants to steal their stuff.
  10. Thanks for the lot of reply! I knew about being able to copy and paste the text, I just want something a bit automated. And there's also the built in screenshot function to deal with taking screenies of the log but I'm more interested in being able to Ctrl + F on a log to find previous interactions I've done with some people because my memory is kinda shit so I want something to reference back to in case I talk to that person again. In my case, I want to do it because I have poor memory and don't want to offend someone when we just talked the day prior or something and I already forgot what we talked about last. I've looked around for info regarding parsers and SE's stance seems to be just don't flaunt it openly in public in-game and you won't be penalized. However, the only parser I know is that one parser that helped me get rid of RMT spam when I was still in Faerie. As far as I know, it doesn't have chat logging at all. Yeah, I've thought of that but I would still prefer something that is somehow automated. EDIT: What's IC chat?
  11. I want to be able to look back at my previous chat and be able to find previous conversations I've had with other people. Is there a tool of some sort that will let me do this?
  12. Thanks! It's got the same friendly vibe that Faerie has, plus RP! This is awesome.
  13. New update, I just transferred to Balmung just now. So I guess the title isn't correct anymore. Yeah, pretty much like apartments, you can only have finite number of tenants. Is there an avenue where I can find listings for such offers? I haven't owned a house even on my prior server so I'm not that familiar with how housing works but regarding furniture. Can't you just rent out an empty room and let the tenant provide their own furniture?
  14. Thanks for the reply guys! I don't really have an alt or plan on making one but I guess having an extra character wouldn't hurt. As for the housing bit, I feared that would be the case. With the introduction of estate sharing, do you think it'd be "norm" to sort of rent out one's house like an apartment? I'd settle for that. Although, I know that joining well enough FCs can grant me my own room, I'd still prefer not to be tied to an FC and instead have some sort of my "own" dwelling even if it's in the form of a rented house/room from someone else.
