Wasn't sure where to put this, but I've figured that my life's taking me in a direction away from FFXIV, and that's not necessarily a bad thing! I've moved on to another community and to being a somewhat successful freelance artist, and that's just consuming all of my time and desire to play. So as a result, I need to find my house a new home. I’m going to be passing off Goblet W4 P8 (medium, right beside a market board and aetheryte, but with a large plot blocking the view). It’s tied to a rank 8 FC, has a capped airship, and the FC has somewhere in the vicinity of a 700k company credits, so don’t worry about the move LOL Preferably this’ll go to an FC that has no house currently, and in even higher considerations one without the funds to buy a Kugane house. My only requirement is I can plunk my two characters down in the FC for if I ever decide to pop back into Eorzea. If you're interested, just slide over to >> this form. I wanted to make a thread about this somewhere ;;; bc I haven't seen anyone else talking about it. But the Rising this year is actually a direct nod to another series of video games on the Nintendo DS called Etrian Odyssey, made by ATLUS! They're pretty comparatively obscure, but EO is the father and king of all dungeon crawlers. Even the little mapping system over on the side is a simplified version of Etrian's in the Cheap Dungeon! The notes around are very reminiscent of the flavor text in Etrian Odyssey 4's sixth stratum: the Hall of Darkness. I'm a huge nerd for EO so seeing this direct reference made my whole month... Also fun fact: one of the main developers of the Etrian franchise (Kazuya Niinou) is now a SE employe working on FFXIV!

The Incunabulum has, in the last couple of weeks, been deciding on running more public events from here on, we've remodeled our house, and we've taken a brief hiatus for the expansion. But, I do have a couple of important announcements to put here, so I'll get right to it! The first update: We've moved our site! Enjin turned out to be real expensive, and once we let our sub run out, it basically locked all our stuff behind the impassable barrier of "delete everything or pay us". So, we now are on Shivtr! Frankly, I like the layout and functionality on Shivtr better than Enjin, so moving ended up being great (if a little confusing, because most of the tutorials on setting up Shivtr are out of date by a few years). Next update: The INK house has been remodeled! It was very cramped before, and was generally decorated with a very, very poor usage of space. Now that it's been repurposed and made into a more usable space, it's open for drop-in RP, or for a venue! If you'd like to use a library for your RP purposes, or turn in a leve for us in character, feel free to swing by or use Goblet, Ward 4, Plot 8. (I'm posting this as we redecorate, so maybe wait a day or two, but we are open for public venue usage!) Last but not least, the company's MSQ is hitting off again soon, so join while you can! We're delving into a labyrinth beneath Coerthas in two weeks (07/15, roughly), filled with danger, puzzles, magic, and a special twist -- but that one's a DM secret. We're entering the third segment of the labyrinth soon, so get in before it's too late! The last few will be a wild ride.

First and foremost, let's kick it all off with what has to be the crown jewel of all the recent happenings. The FC's own musical theme! [align=center]7zNLdwdkkfw [/align] Done by the incredible Fox Amoore, the theme is finally finished, and it's an absolute treat to listen to. I personally can't stop looping it, and the journey to its completion was an amazing one. Please check him and our theme out-- both are fantastic, or your money back. Next up, «INK» has managed to procure an FC house! We're eager to start RP and events run out of the new place, at Goblet Ward 4, Plot 8. It's very nicely situated, and a medium plot, meaning that we'll likely be calling the place home for a long time to come. Everyone loves it, and applications have spiked since we acquired and started to advertise with it. Come have a look, or maybe even move in! The company's MSQ ought to be starting up again soon, and a recent expedition into the depths of Thanalan has resulted in the recovery of a relic that only the Incunabulum knows much about. The Amdapor relic has proven to be a hit, and it isn't going to be the first neat plot around. There are a number of plots starting off of the leve system, which roleplayers both in and out of the FC are welcome to submit to! Don't be afraid to make a suggestion if you want to RP with us, but aren't sure about wanting to join just yet. I'm on mobile and very tired so this post won't be anything spectacular, but lately I've been conceptualizing a plot encompassing multiple FCs, especially involving the leaders. Potential concepts include curses/alchemical creations that will influence the behavior of PCs involved, and potential involvement of voidsent. It hasn't been very thoroughly planned, and I'm waiting to see about interest and pinning down participating Free Companies before finalizing more details. Fresh meat here-- I mean, a fresh face! I just registered here... About ten minutes ago and sweet golly gee do forums feel a hell of a lot different. Some of you might've seen me around tumblr-- I'm mxritum over there! Previously iterxtio o7 and I also go by the username of armoroad on dA and tumblr if that rings any bells. I've roleplayed on tumblr for probably two and a half years now, but only got into XIV under 6 months ago. Ingame I main Astrologian, and in character as does Ciaran (yes, his name doesn't fit the conventions. I hate them.). Currently on Balmung but was on Malboro until recently! I have an alt on Mally by the name of Yata'sae Rhiki (catteboi), and one on Sargatanas by the name Izayoi Torioi (Raen gal), though I'm utterly terrible at keeping up with alts!! 8') alas short potatoes can't do everything. IC Sharlayan turned Sky Pirate, with some sprinkles on top, a bad temper, and a bit of a terrible background. Interested?
