Agreed. Granted, Tyll'a sometimes has a hard time trusting Delkan, given that his mother dedicated her life to stopping slavers, but Delkan is still an awesome RPer. You guys are too sweet.

Good day everyone! My character is an ex-slaver looking for redemption and I'm wanting to grow my character's story and hopefully your own! I'm looking for a someone who plays as a freed slave, or maybe you need rescuing, to help guide my character towards finding peace. I'm hoping this will be long term as I'd like to RP together quite a bit and hopefully make this a fun event between us. I don't have a preference on gender or anything else, but I would prefer it if you were a miqo'te as that is a real crux in his story. Hi everyone, My character is an older human- I haven't really set a definite age but I would definitely be 'Grandpa'. I want to get an RP family going, or join an ongoing one. Don't hesitate to send me a message in game. It'd be my first time doing something like this so any advice would also be appreciated! Delkan is like any typical retiree. If he's not sitting around the house telling stories of past adventures, hes out fishing for 'the biggest catch of his life'. He thinks he is a class-A chef, but due to 'stomach problems' he has never eaten his own food and has no idea that cookies are not supposed to be blackened charcoals. He's not a brooder, and tells dad jokes all the time. He retired from the Immortal Flames as an officer and was an adventurer 'before your time'. I'd really like to start something like this because I've always felt RP'ing with a close bunch of people is more fun than walking into a party of a bunch of others- and being 'Grandpa' kinda feels natural in my FC so why not? RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm still new to FFXIV RP rules, but from what I've read so far it all seems fair except 'perma-death' on main characters. Views on IC romance: What happens, happens. If you stick to your character well and run across someone and build a relationship and a narrative between the two I don't see why you can't make it something serious. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): My story hinges on my character being a widower, but I haven't expanded out into the family aspect. Since I play an older character (55ish) it would make sense that I could have children, brothers, sisters. I don't have any of these ties now, but if you need a character to be 'fatherly' or similar I am open to the idea. Views on lore: I'm still reading a lot of the story and lore of the game, so my knowledge is currently weak. I'd like to adhere to it as much as possible though as that is what makes for a fun story is living in the world you're given. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I don't have any hard preferences on either or. Want to RP solely in the middle of no where in /tell- that's fine. As long as we're all having fun. I do think, though, that /shout is more of an OOC thing, but /yell is IC. III.
