[align=center]This May 1st (y'know, May Day), I suggest we show off the cute, the humorous and the downright hideous minions that we've worked so hard to collect. I declare a pet parade that begins in Ul'Dah and works its way through Thanalan, through the Shroud and ends in Gridania. The more people, pets, and mounts we can get at this thing the more glorious it will be! Imagine the reactions to the pilgrimage as our parade wanders through zones and, quite possibly, sporadically begins helping newbies with FATEs. It will go down in infamy![/align]

 

[align=center]Starting Place: Ul'Dah, the steps of the Quicksand[/align]

[align=center]Ending Place: Gridania outside the Roost.[/align]

[align=center]Time: 5:00 pm Central Standard Time (USA)[/align]

[align=center]Date: May 1st![/align]

 

But to make this a real success, I'm gonna need your help! Please tell as many people as you can that the minions are feeling some serious spring fever and that on Friday, May 1st, at 5:00 PM central that they should take their pets on a walk across Eorzea. The more people we have (RPers or not), the more magnificent this will look!

So I'm wandering around trying to snap pictures of people with their favorite pets to promote the Pet Parade on Friday, May 1st at 5PM Central Standard Time.

 

If you're interested in a very enthusiastic hyur or elezen chasing you around and snapping pictures of you and your minion, let me know! Or if you have any pictures you've taken yourself of your minion or mount, put them here! ^__^

O.....O So, I was hanging around the gold saucer trying to decide which pet I'd bring to the parade. Ultimately I decided on the wind up dullahan. 

 

 

He's a little twitchy. I think it might be because he's possessed by an evil spirit e...e Still, evil spirit or no, he's my friend!

 

 

Having decided that I'd bring him to the parade, I figured it might be fun to hang out with him a bit. We were getting ready to explore the gold saucer a bit when-

 

 

He got knocked the hell out by a baby opo-opo O..........O The little pest then had the nerve to climb up on shoulder!

 

 

I was about ready to fling it into the water but... It started talking to me

 

It told me it knew where I lived! Where all my friends and family lived too!

 

 

Then it told me that if I knew what was good for me I'd go find the nearest cuff-a-cur machine.

 

 

It stared at that mechanical Gilgamesh with nothing but hatred in its eyes. I'm pretty sure a look like that would make Bahamut himself turn tail and run!

 

 

It told me to start punching and not to stop until it said so. I've been at it for the last 4 hours O....O

 

Send help. Please! This thing isn't messing around!
