'ello folks...total newcomer here ^^; I started up FFXIV a while ago, after not being able to play since the open beta. I've been looking into RP for a while and I remembered this place, so I thought I'd hop in.

 

--MMORPG background: Lots and lots of FFXI. I briefly played WoW, as well. I also dipped into several free-to-play MMO's for a while. And by several I mean a lot.

 

--RP experience: Quite a bit, actually. I used to do a lot of journal RPing, and I've also done some forum RP and even some IM RP ages upon ages ago.

 

--Character ideas/info: I've toyed with Merisia's character for a long while now, and I've actually RP'd her elsewhere. She developed a love for treasure hunting rather early on in life, as well as a few basic skills in pickpocketing and stealing thanks to her family's lifestyle. Her practice in the area of magic was both a means to satisfy her curiosity and a way to defend herself, although this led to her being all too notorious for her love of fire spells. Also, you should never trust her ability to cook. Ever. She'd burn a salad if you gave her the chance.

 

--How did you learn about the coalition?: From a friend, back when the game was really new. And found the place again through the almighty and powerful Google.

 

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?: Pretty much anything, though mostly medium or light.

 

--Anything from real life youâre comfortable with sharing?: I'm currently attending college to be an animator and I really like drawing, writing, and sewing. Also I really like video games. 8D
