Hi!

 

I'm new to the RPC, because of my horrible shyness mostly, and even though I've been playing FFXIV for a long time I just can't seem to get further than level 34... it'salittlediscouraging. - ^-)

But, today I thought I'd at least drop by and say hello to everyone!

 

--MMORPG background

I've played a lot of MMOs, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XI (but I never got very far), and a whole bunch of free-to-play ones that come and go... Games I can't seem to quit are Ragnarök Online (I've played to and fro since open beta! Mwah!), Mabinogi and Eden Eternal.

--RP experience

Not used to role-playing with people I don't know very well, I'm just too shy and lose my nerve, so both me and my characters might come off as daft and/or mute... but I have, and still, RP a lot with my best friend.

--Character ideas/info

Oh, well... I want to play a chaotic neutral, easy-going sort of character to start with, I think.

My character is a Seeker of the Sun with the name Joachim Silvier, but goes under the simple letter "J" only.

I wanted to play a male mi'qote, so I still haven't worked this out yet...

I prefer starting next to blank and flesh out the details as they come along!

--How did you learn about the coalition?

Eorzeapedia, I think it was, there was a notice when FFXIV was about launch, wasn't there?

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?

I'd say medium... not light, but not too heavy, I want to discuss things out of character sometimes.

--Anything from real life youâre comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)

Sure! I'm a woman from Europe, and English isn't my native language, sadly. I love my computer and video game consoles and I'm also a huge retro gaming geek.

I enjoy having a nice cup of coffee and a biscuit down town, preferable with a friend. I have a pet snake called Niarte and I'm currently taking care of a homeless cat called Barnaby.

Well we have a OOC linkshell for all Roleplayers to use, Intermission. You can come here, talk to other roleplayers, find RP and find the appropriate RP linkshell for yourself, just look for me in game, Endricane Feltaro or anyone one listed as a pearl holder.

Oooh, another 15 year old character! At long last, my Lalafell isn't alone! Maybe you should come visit Corvus Cinis some time (we have cookies!) ^^

 

Also, I can relate on the shyness stuff... I am a very shy person... but I warmed up to the RPC rather quickly. Maybe you will too ^^

 

And thirdly, it'll be nice to have a few more europeans around. Peoples of closer timezones = more RP for other EU players! Hoorah!
