Star Lin Posted July 25, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 25, 2015 So, I posted in the chat yesterday that mom has the early stage of Pneumonia. She at home and doing well. The pneumonia is in her left lung and she's on two antibiotics as well as a steroid to help keep her lungs open. Please still keep us in your thoughts and prays. Hopefully these treatments will help her improve soon. Star Lin 1 Link to comment
Asmodean Posted July 25, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 25, 2015 While I wasn't in chat when this happened, I wish all the best. I know the feelings that might be running thought your head right now but trust me, calm down and think. She's home, if things wore not good then she wouldn't be. Everything is going to be fine. Thanks, Asmodean. Can't help but worry a little. We almost lost her one time before a couple of years ago to infection. That was coloring my post when I type it up. You're right, she's home and resting since it was caught it early, so she'll be just fine. Link to comment

I understand that worry, My own mother had a stroke last December and while I live with my girlfriend, just knowing she had something like that happen, I was a nervous wreak for a few weeks until I saw her. Worrying about family is only human, but don't let it get out of hand. Everyone around me, even my bosses wore walking on egg shells for those few weeks. Link to comment
13uddy Posted July 25, 2015 Share #5 Posted July 25, 2015 Even though we don't really know each other yet, I'm glad to hear she's doing well and I hope she has a swift recovery. I'll keep your family in my thoughts (because even though she's the one who is ill, I know all too well from both sides how stressful it can be on family and friends when someone we care about is unwell). If you would like, I'll ask my brother-in-law to say a prayer for her during his church service tomorrow as he's a preacher. If not, that is fine, I just don't want to ask without your permission since not everybody feels comfortable with that sort of thing. Link to comment
