To Anyone that has Questions Regarding Ninjas

If you have any questions I will answer, I am currently typing out an essay (Currently over 1700 words, trying to break up the boredom at work) and I'll be using some information I got during my stay in Nabari.

I have one. What is the difference between ninja and shinobi? When I was in Sasebo, some Japanese friends I made always referred to them as shinobi, but the language barrier made it hard for them to explain the difference.

In terms of their usage of the word, both words mean the same, it just depends strictly on where you go and who you are talking to.

 

They were both around during the 12th century, and operated as agents to people like lords and even shoguns.
