Pathfinder RPG Archaic Rules Adventure

Hello Peeps

I'm looking at starting a Pathfinder game on PST Saturday nights (probably 6-10 PM) it will start at level one, and I already have two players, looking for 2-3 more. The games will be held on roll20, and won't require anything but a basic concept of what an RPG is. I might do an intro session with pregenerated characters for the super new types.

Pathfinder is kind of a grognardy old system, but I sort of like it. It's relatively easy to powergame, but hopefully people play nice.

This is intended to be a long term situation, please let me know if you're interested. You won't necessarily need a rulebook or anything, but having a PDF wouldn't hurt.

I'm potentially interested. I'm pretty well familiar with Pathfinder, having played several games over the past few years. It's not my favorite (I feel 5th edition is very good), but I like it enough. What material will be allowed for chargen? All Paizo or a bit more restrictive?

Heyoo!

Basically anything in the Players Guide or Advanced Players/Character guides for sure. Anything else you'll have to run by me.

I'm doing pathfinder because I like their adventure paths. It's going to be very new people friendly, so anyone joining should be aware of that.

I'mma be rolling in with some mad heals. /sagenods

Speaking of, have your current players given you an idea what they want to play?

Additionally, would be a better way to talk about details such as these besides this thread?

For the record, I'm most interested in playing one of the more roguish Bard archetypes. (Sandman and Archaeologist, specifically interested in Sandman.)

I'll be making a skype group once we have a solid roster.

As for a sand person or whatever Nadine, I'll have to look it up. I haven't played since maybe 2010 or so. <_< so I don't know much about anything new that has come out.

Oh jeez Pathfinder. I haven't played a good sit-down pen and paper in ages. Yet, I still have all my Pathfinder books on a shelf in my apartment, waiting for the day I can.

So, I'm up for playing... or can nerd out and provide information from one of my many books. I have most of them, and can likely give a full list of what I have once I'm actually home if needed.
