Yhisa's bird?

 A chocobo named  'Raidence' her first chocobo and is still her stalwart companion even unto Ishguard, learning to fly. ( which is a constant struggle, as Raidence is a  smaller bird, so the high winds of Coerthas  are a constant struggle.

 

Unlike most birds, Raidence is strongly bonded to her  Mi'quote err .. Au Ra companion.  This bird has been a fact that's gotten her out of a few scrapes, charging in helping. Yhisa's also  spent many a night in Cortheas in an  snowy igloo with her bright chocobo and enjoying the warmth.

 

Does Raidence have a pedigree? Yes.

Charlotte the chocobo is vain, willful, and affectionate, and tends to dash off at a full-gallop without much forethought. She's bright blue and cycles through a variety of colorful barding.

 

Not so different from Mina, really...
