Returning to the Balmung server

Been playing mmos dating all the way back to EQ in '97 and have been role playing for just about as long. It's been fun to get back into FFXIV but I've found myself missing out on something to really keep me interested in the game. I've run into this problem in the past, where you just catch up with pve stuff and then there just isn't much else to do. So, you can imagine, I'm super interested in delving into the RP community here.

 

Currently, I'm rolling a Sharlayan inspired Roegadyn (https://charahub.com/character/925031/Tirkhayl-Slakellsyn/public/. In the past, I've tended toward more of a medium-heavy role-playing style and enjoy most manner of in-game role-playing as well as play-by-posting. In an FC with some old friends but I'd love to see what else the community is up to on the Balmung server as well as check out the forums to get back to writing. Actually, if there are others role-playing a Sharlayan, I'd be really interested to discuss some background elements and would love to have someone help clear up some inconsistencies as well as refine my character sketch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
