The Hydaelyn Roleplayers staff is not responsible for any loss of funds, products, or labour regarding any transaction that takes place on this website.

 

This includes in-game transactions, art commissions, and any and all forms of monetary exchange between users. By posting on these forums, you agree to release the Hydaelyn Roleplayers Coalition and its staff from all liability, and you acknowledge that payment disputes are the responsibility ONLY of the involved parties (e.g. commissioner and artist).

 

In the event of a dispute, users may make a public dispute claim within the relevant thread using ONLY the following template.

 

ANY DISPUTE CLAIMS MADE THAT DO NOT STRICTLY FOLLOW THE DESCRIBED TEMPLATE WILL BE REMOVED OR EDITED AT RPC STAFF DISCRETION.

 

ONLY THE USERS INVOLVED WITHIN THE TRANSACTION (i.e. users that are personally responsible for sending payment OR users personally responsible for delivering product, such as an artist or commissioner) MAY POST DISPUTES.

Do not reply to this post. All inquiries regarding a dispute should be sent via private message or off-site communication ONLY.

 

In the space marked Contested User, enter the RPC username of the person with whom you have not received payment or product(s).

 

In the space marked Type of Dispute, enter one or more of the following: PRODUCT NOT DELIVERED or PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED.

 

In the space marked Date of Transaction, enter the date that payment was sent, or labour of the product was started.

 

In the space marked Date of Last Update, enter the last date of communication between you and the contested user.

 

Dispute claims should have no other content, written or otherwise, save for the above-described template.

 

IN THE EVENT THAT A DISPUTE IS SUCCESSFULLY RESOLVED:

 

Both parties should take clear screenshot proof that the dispute is resolved.

 

Afterwards, the dispute post must have all content removed and replaced with the following:

 

Dispute resolved on [date]

 

In the event that a resolved dispute post has not been updated, please contact RPC staff with your proof of resolution.

 

In the event of numerous reports or numerous disputes, threads may be removed or locked at RPC staff discretion.
